Her family is just embarrassing and he is not getting extra perks. A potential perk would be the entirety of Rosings Park if he married his cousin. The "common women" you speak of would have been these people's servants. Lizzy and Darcy were in the same social class.

Aug 20, 2011 - I've listened to this peace of heaven at least 10 times today, cannot get bored of it. I personaly think that this movie captured the love tension between Mr Darcy and Elizabeth more. I just finished the book and think that Keira knightley does a perfect job potraying the lively Elizabeth bennet and the mother was hilarious.

Jan 10, 2012 - At 0:38 when walking home from school past all the noisy cars and I listen to this song and it make me think, "How nice it would be to walk in the English countryside and just be at peace for those couple seconds... walking in a beautiful old fashioned dress.... and my world... for those couple of seconds would be so wonderful." It would get rid if all the stresses of school, boys and everything. I hope someday I find my Mr. Darcy. :)
