Mar 1, 2012 - what electric arc? those are 70Ah 12V batteries, and with those wires, the milisecond they touch they would just vaporise. you would have to have a really huge wire to make the battery explode, like 10 or 15mm of diameter so it can withstand the high current without melting. even then it would take some seconds to the battery to get hot and start boiling the liquid inside and some have pressure valves so not a 100% chance of even blowing
