Mar 17, 2012 - disclaimer: to all the stupid people who will more than likely go and try this, think first. poaching is a serious crime. only do it legally if you have a trappers permit
bowhunter42995 Says:
Mar 17, 2012 - so what. yeah, its not the 'safe way' but sometimes the safe way doesnt work. and if you know how to use a knife, you know that you can safely cut towards yourself. he looked like he knows what hes doing

Apr 30, 2012 - Hey, i was wondering if taking a squirrel or rabbit by usng a snare is legal anywhere, as for i live in Arizona or is only allowed if the hunter has a trappers license or needs to survive?
etherform66 Says:
May 9, 2012 - the design of the trap seems to be mono-directional - i just cant see how an animal approaching from the other side can trip the mechanism - is the movement of the animal once caught in the snare ..ie backward movement... in the direction of the natural release of the trip toggle, resoponsible for the trigger release and capture of game?

May 19, 2012 - Seems like everyone has that knife! I have it too!!!
Sully800 Says:
May 22, 2012 - The trigger setup at 8:03 seems to be backward. The trigger should be on the opposite side, so an animal will knock the cross bar off in one direction and the trigger off in the other direction. Despite that, the animal will likely trip the spring pole in either direction as it struggles in the snare.
