May 27, 2011 - Why is it too late? I've "wasted" many years as well, and I'm going to start studying robotics now after a masters degree in Chinese, and working as a teacher for several years!

Mar 12, 2012 - If you feel comfortable with the math involved, I don't see a reason why not. :) But you have to be sure that you do have the required basics. Otherwise you will stumble across obstacles on each and every corner, which might discourage you to keep going. It's a double-blade knife.

Jan 25, 2011 - I'm a freshman in highschool, and I'm currently taking a robotics course. But getting to know how to program, the robot( we use Scorbot ER V's) Wire, learn about proxy sensors, light curtains, and how to take it apart and rebuild it, is fascinating. Our teacher is a MSU grad, and is amazing at what he does. We just got a couple of FANUC bots, from a GM plant, and were fixing em up, and planning on using them next year. Its somthing you actually need to study, and try out to get, but its all fun.
