PEOPLE, if a person can create a whole martial art, one could teach him self this martial art. It would take many years of self training and alot of different videos/texts/forums but it would start to kick in after a while

You can not fully teach yourself, I would only give you credit for saying this if you were some monk in shaolin or thailand that was preaching these words. Thousands of years of knowledge gets handed down from Master to student, one cannot learn proper technique without knowledge of such!!

Aug 25, 2011 - Thousands of years of knowledge passes from master to student until student becomes master, you can imitate what you see, but never perfect the technique unless you have guidance of some sort. I would only give you credit if your a monk that is meditating for the majority of the day and receiving divine inspiration or you are a fully enlightened individual, which is highly unlikely, but if your teaching yourself you will eventually run into blocks.

Aug 26, 2011 - muay thai is my main fighting style, im studying it with my master and he is the real deal, and i can tell you, muay boran is not a martial art to underestimate. for those who try to learn it beware, that u WILL get cuts, bruises and will be in serious pain from the training.
