Feb 11, 2012 - grew up in philly 1966 to '73. the jackson 5 were the shit!  we got every single and album, watched the saturday cartoon and bought "soul" magazine just so we could keep up with everything they did. saw them on ed sullivan, stayed home to watch michael on the dating game. i'm SOOOOOOO glad i grew up then!

Growing up in Los Angeles, back in the days of Wilt Chamberlain, I think about the Lakers and 1972 everytime I hear these songs from the "Third Album".And remember: Motown didn't make the Jackson 5, THE JACKSON 5 MADE MOTOWN! Berry Gordy was an Absolute Genius in getting them!
