Sep 24, 2010 - I'm a native English speaker and it's definitely "Distress Call". It's likely you are just mishearing the English. In rapid/casual speech the Dis part of Distress isn't really emphasized so it can often sound like "D'stress".

Nov 6, 2010 - Shannon was getting really annoying, especially how she had an argument for everything Boone suggested. In a way I'm kind of glad she was killed.

Jun 16, 2011 - I agree that this scene was indeed creepy, But at the same time "Guys? Where are we?" is what sold it for me and I was in love with the show and very excited for what was to come. Lost <3

Jan 23, 2012 - 172,945,533----I get 164.52 years. Assuming the iterations are 30 seconds apart (172,945,533)/2 iterations per min/60 min/24 hrs/ 365 days = 164.52 years. Anyone else get the same?
Phyreuhm Says:
Jan 24, 2012 - your original number is wrong man, you have an extra digit; nice working but the writers wouldn't get something like this wrong. :) Peace
Seethlaw Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - It's not very well done. When it supposed to be repeating, it changes everytimes. Shannon's translation is not syncronized. Sayid's math is not correct...Arg... Oh well, fuck it. Best serie ever <3
Vermillion9411 Says:
Feb 29, 2012 - @sparkman i used the intermission before the one you used. 786 172 94532 / 2, 60 min / 24 hours / 365 = approx. 16.4522 years
