May 1, 2012 - Yeah, I like Funimation too. I've met a few of the voice actors, and I can peg some out from listening to the trailer here. Maybe you were just in the excitement of the time so you jumped the gun? Or maybe you should have a long Studio Ghibli marathon to refresh. I like that idea. :P

May 13, 2012 - The animation, plot, and art are nice, but the characters are terrible. I didn't care for any the characters, they didn't feel "real" or believable.

May 13, 2012 - It had a great concept.A post-apocalyptic world,covered by plants isn't something you see everyday.However,the movie fails hard at being convincing.Putting aside the poor dialouge and cliches,the "plot twists",and the way characters act change TOO dramatically to be believeable,which results in artifical,forced relations.The art is great though.But I was expecting much more from this movie.

America's changed A LOT . in the early 2000's & 1990's they were so open about anime & anime movies .But now it seems like they (as in the majority,not all) hear the word anime & they feel weirded out (cuz the overly obssessed ones have creeped them out) & they think that all things to do with anime is weird So not a lot of anime movies have been released in the U.S. b/c not a lot of ppl go to watch itStudio Ghibli films are still alive though . (Thank the lord . )
