Feb 21, 2012 - My god this is such an incredible movie. It's really wierd at the beginning if you're too stubborn to give it a chance, but it's definitely one of the best movies ever made. An awesome example of how movies can still have the same impact as movies like Citizen Cane and Psycho and all those names that are synonimous with moviemaking (those are just two hastily chosen examples; there are many more obviously). Moulin Rouge deserves to be on that list, plus it has a better soundtrack!

Feb 23, 2012 - it's cool that you have a passion for this film and acknowledge that there are in fact films that do leave great impacts upon society. There are movies I just adore too, but I gotta disagree on this one. It's not a bad movie but it has A LOT of flaws that you are overlooking that clearly stops it from being on that list of fantastic movies.
