Description:
http://www.rickperry.org/I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Christian, but you don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school. As President, I'll end Obama's war on religion. And I'll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage. Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again. I'm Rick Perry and I approve this message.

Dec 7, 2011 - Hello I am Rick Perry and I wish I was strong enough to say "say it loud, I'm gay and I'm proud!"
1Dystopian Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Narrow minded, prejudiced, truth-blind moron.
Templar2112 Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - What a brainless douche.
JonMichaelReynolds Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - I was responding to someone else. Apparently the reply went wrong. And I never mentioned gay marriage. Just their dislike for gays. (because their holy book doesn't approve) One unproven theory? Are you kidding me? There are mountains of evidence for evolution. You clearly don't know what a scientific theory is. Do you know what else is a scientific theory? GRAVITY! Also, science is not something you can just simply pick and choose which you like better.

Dec 7, 2011 - what a scumbag
JonMichaelReynolds Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Also, creationism has no scientific value anyways, it's all based on something from one holy book. The fact that some people think it should be put in a science classroom is laughable. Maybe you can explain it in a world history class when explaining religions though.
americatheebeautiful Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - That "Faith" was Islam
treeshakin Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - And we thought George W was the dumbest fucking asshole there ever was.
etiennec Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Poor christians, they are so persecuted..... awwwww.....bullcrap!! Christians persecute each other and also the non-believers. Faith is believing whatever the hell they want without evidences, that's stupid. America has been strong not because of faith, is because of technological advance and science development.
Metalcultistmike Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - @RPerry2012--can I count on Rick Perry to take all the problems facing our nation and declare them the purview of his sky-dwelling invisible friend, just like he did with PrayerFest?
Serenifly8 Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Let's bring back the lions. Then he might know what persecution feels like
Metalcultistmike Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Here's a little campaign slogan I came up with for him: "Rick Perry for President: Come On, America, You Really Are This Stupidly Religious, Right?"
MrPresidentGorski Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - There was also a theory that the earth was flat. Many people, some are even atheists, acknowledge that there are things that need to be addressed with the theory. Evolution as a whole has not been proven. I can give you mounds of evidence for Creationism. Such as the Precambrian explosion. But that's another debate. Science is not something you can pick but since when is it not okay to present two sides of an argument and let people figure it out for themselves?
TheBradreed Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - "The Bible teaches us several lessons -- thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt... uh, shalt thou not... uh... I can't name the other ones. Oops."
rebrane Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Who's stopping kids from praying in school? Oh, wait, he means he wants them to be FORCED to pray in school.
TimSPC Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - This is hysterical. Is this from the Daily Show?
seeifyouspamme Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - I'm guessing this is quite embarrasing for a lot of Americans. Pass the sick bucket.
MrPresidentGorski Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Creationism is something that many scientists believe in. Newton, Einstein, Pasteur, and Galileo to name a few. Why is it a problem to present two sides of an argument? Who are we to tell people what is right and wrong. If that was true throughout history, we would all still believe the earth was flat and washing our hands was bad. Creationism is not Christianity. It is the belief that something created life. Not specific to what it was, just that it was not spontaneous.
tommyseventysix Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Keep drinking the kool-aid Rick!!
msblucow Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Newsflash for the governor of Faithakistan: I don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when a candidate for the highest office in the land thinks you're not religious enough because you think gays should be able to serve openly in the military and believe in the Constitutional separation of Church and State.
JonMichaelReynolds Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - Because crationism is not science. There is no science in it at all, therefore it does not belong in a science classroom. There isn't mounds of evidence for creationism (at least not objective evidence) when there is plenty of objective evidence for evolution. There are flaws in every theory but it's far greater than concluding that some magical sky daddy poofed us into existence.
schlappy904 Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - He is icky.
CLJoughin Says:
Dec 7, 2011 - I'll end Obama's war on religion, and reinstate the centuries old war on gays. That's what God would want.
