Sep 3, 2009 - It's true, the quality only seems better using that b/w setting. I know this because I took green tinted video and ran it through a desaturation filter to convert it to b/w and although it appeared clearer, in a side by side comparison it was easy to ascertain that this was not the case. It was just more pleasing to the eye.
