But fixed fighting goes back to the Romans, so it's not an original idea in wrestling even so.Wierdly enough, there were far LESS deaths in wrestling back when it was 'real' then there is today.Sorry for the history leason :)

May 18, 2012 - There's a different between fake and scripted, if you've watched the wwe people have gained permanent injuries, and people like owen hart have died( it's not as easy as it looks). Yes the moves are practiced safely but accidents do happen, to me it's entertainment like movies and such; people don't go around saying movies are fake, because they are but we still love them. The sports entertainers in the wwe should gain respect for the risks they take, and the great performers they are.
