Though I'll add that when he doesn't follow the prompter he usually puts his foot in his mouth. Besides, how does one judge intelligence? Is it by education level, grades, accomplishments? Or is it simply based on one being able to articulate well, being a great orator? I'm curious as to what your litmus test is for this?

They're spine-chilling. Back to the intelligence subject, I believe that even if being a great speaker doesn't define intelligence, it's essential for being a president, as is a rich vocabulary, skill in debating, quick-wittedness, and a history of good accomplishments.
