Jul 4, 2007 - The pianist is a little overpowering. Part of great chamber music is in the name "chamber" But his nuances are fantastic. The Quintet absolutely wonderful, I think my favorite recording is Rudolf firkusny and the Ridge String Quartet.

Sep 13, 2008 - Hard to judge the relative volumes without hearing it live though. This was a live recording from a piano competition, so the mikes may have been overly focused on the pianist without it being his fault.

Mar 28, 2009 - For me, this video has a very important message from Menachem Pressler , which is something that people need to understand . Volume levels and all the other things that are a concern can be adjusted , but that rare gift to speak from the heart is a rare and special gift . We need more of this . It feeds our soul !

Jul 16, 2011 - I wish Mr. Pressler puts the money where his mouth is. If anybody, he should be quiet about the musical message: he judges competitions and these are designed to produce winners who bring out the right notes, played fast, clean and loud!! So, dear Mr. Pressler, put the money where your mouth is!
