The best answer to this, is just that there is somply more jobs using maya, as peoples current pipelines are built round it, and its too costly to change them. Its not that its better although I do prefer it for certain things..... Modelling and animation its very good

Nov 21, 2011 - No reason why you cant. Just work hard and do a lot of it, and dont be afraid to show people and have them rip it apart, thats how you learn. Try and find an outlet for it too, its good to have a motivation for the content
