May 18, 2012 - We still have some channels with good educational programming, just we don't get it on mainstream TV. Of course religion doesn't get discussed in this matter ANYWHERE in the U.S. It's ridiculously taboo still to be an outspoken atheist in the U.S. in general. While religion is still insane here, the problem is more of shutting down opposition even though most religious barely even follow their beliefs. They ahve kept the discussion out of the public so reason doesn't spread as it should.
