Jul 7, 2011 - Both PS3 and Xbox upscales the images they produce. PS3 renders Crysis 2 at 1024x720, while Xbox 360 renders at 1152x720. Neither of the consoles render at full 1280x720. I have also never heard of a game on the PS3 which is rendered at 1920x1080, Gran Turismo 5 is rendered at 1280x1080 for the "1080p" output. Todays consoles are severely lacking compared to a 500$ PC in terms of hardware.

PC gamers wouldn't get the same big game, if it wouldn't be developed on consoles also, so don't attach blame.
