Shrimp Stir Fry with Rice

Nov 5, 2010 - Some people, asians and non-asians do wash their rice. I do not wash my rice for a couple reasons. Starch is not soluble in in water. however, several vitamins and minerals in rice are soluble in water and thus will be washed away in rinse water. So if you want your rice to have fewer vitamins and minerals wash it. It will still have the same amount of starch.

Feb 24, 2011 - I guess if you see dirt in your rice you could wash it! Just keep in mind that if you don't need to rinse it you will keep more of the vitamins and minerals in the rice. It's up to you!

Aug 13, 2011 - This is the easiest recipe! I'm going to try it soon. Noticed you didn't add salt and pepper, the soy is salty enough, right? Can you add oyster sauce to this? Noticed also you did not add corn starch which I'd seen in other videos. I like this recipe, it's very simple and easy. Thanks.
