Apr 2, 2011 - cos there's a great feature-length doc about Chet, "Let's Get Lost" by Bruce Weber. There's lots of footage of Chet there (some of it B&W 8mm), so good as Depp is, how can he hope to beat the original CB?The DVDof the doc may be tied up in music rights hassles in the US (the same would apply to a biopic, I guess) but if you've got friends in Japan or Britain, they can get it for you.

My friend Tommy Tune turned me on to CB and he gifted me with the VHS. On Tommy's "Slow Dancin'" CD, he used a producer that did many of CB's studio sessions.
