Nov 29, 2008 - This is so cool, I used to love watching this show along with my family, especially when the guest was someone that we children loved. It was interesting to see the voice and/or face of someone we idolized as kids!

Dec 6, 2008 - This is hilarious.(I was expecting them to say "yes" to the question of whether it involved anything that was once alive. I'm thinking, of course, of trees. (trees = paper, paper = drawings)

Dec 7, 2008 - 'Prchristman': I totally agree. Mr. Nash produced the 'voice' of D.D. - hardly a 'product' in the literal sense of the word. The fact that that voice is then utilized in motion pictures - technically a product - in no way makes his 'voice' a product! Of COURSE the panel would be misled. Cheers.

prchristman Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - Very tricky. Bennett Cerf asked if there was a product involved with what Mr. Nash did. And right there, only motion pictures (a product) could be thought of. Nash was then asked if the product NASH MADE was made in CA. He made the voice, but didn't make movies (he provided a service for them instead). But Nash said yes. From then on, the product was thought of as Nash's voice. The Daly-Nash conference at 1:40 might have been on this point. A voice isn't a "product," but was that the question?

prchristman Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - Concluding what I said -- the product started out as motion pictures, meandered into voice, meandered back to motion pictures when Nash confirmed that the product could be held in one's hands, and meandered back to motion pictures. All of this through Nash's answers, audience reaction, and lack of clarification from Nash or Daly (perhaps necessarily to avoid giving away too much). The panel was misled (I'd say not intentionally). Before I sound any more like John Daly, I'll leave it at that!

Feb 21, 2009 - Oh wow! I love this! What a nice guy. Am I the only one who thinks that Donald Duck kind of looks like him? That would be awesome to have a talent like that.

zgreggz82 Says:

Feb 28, 2009 - Hold it in your hand? Yes. ????

evfich Says:

Mar 9, 2009 - im confused about something. wouldnt providing a voice for a cartoon character be more of a service, than a product?

beatyourheartout91 Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - the product is the movie

JudeMaris Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - I was rolling on the floor because the panel had no idea why their questions were so hilarious!! XD

chaoticstar16 Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - i love it when he started talking donald duck. =)

evfich Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - you cannot hold a voice in your hands

evfich Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - i can understand that.

tooklongenough Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - if you look up the definition of the word product, I think you will realize that a product doesn't have to be held in the hands. my voice is a product of my my vocal chords acting on neural impulses; and your physical products are a product of your imagination; get the picture?

chalomirof63 Says:

Mar 14, 2009 - "tooklongenough": Well: using that "definition", virtually 'anything' can be a product - as in "air," an "atom". Gets a little "iffy" at some point.

evfich Says:

Mar 23, 2009 - actually calling a cartoon voice a product isnt my issue, but for some reason the questions that followed just didnt make sense to me. 'is it grown in california'. NO

chalomirof63 Says:

Mar 27, 2009 - The inability for many to use their "left brain" has contributed to the ignorance, hatred, bigotry, and all the other "lovelier" aspects of human nature. Not surprising that a "right-brained" ignorant lunatic "oaf" like you would in any way disparage intelligence, reason, rationality, common sense, etc. etc. Nuff' said, from this very proud "left-brained" oaf!

chalomirof63 Says:

Mar 27, 2009 - Oh, "llevivell": you refer to "strictly-conditioned"!!!!! As if religious fanatacism is not a state of brain-washed indoctrination! "We" are educated; "you" are brain-washed! Puss puss puss!
