Sep 20, 2010 - You still feel or I still feel The Vine's were good , BUT they could of been even more special if they tried that little bit harder as a band. And Craig wasn't so mental on stage, though it kind of payed off for him perfoming live and acting the way he did. They could of Been the second coming of Nirvana as well, but their album's in consistency lacked somewhat. Whereas Nirvana held themselves better in those area's. There was only ONE Nirvana though at the end of the day.

I don't know one band who can have this much raw energy and emotion in their music. This is one of the best bands out there, and i'm glad they don't sound just like nirvana cause then they wouldn't be the vines <3

Sep 26, 2010 - "Zombiezz"; i can't tell you how much i agree with your comment. the vines are very unique in sound, sometimes i refer to them as being "bipolar in the best way'', because they have both songs with a raw edgy dirty grunge sound, as well as classic beautiful hippie tunes. and all of it sounds amazing. anyone who can't appreciate atleast a small segment of their spectrum of sound is crazy. lol they are definitely one of my favorite bands of all time. :)

Sep 26, 2010 - & to the rest of you, you shouldn't be comparing nirvana & the vines. they're both one of a kind bands that have different sounds and each is just as good as the other. for the record: i am a fan of both nirvana & the vines, i have been a fan of nirvana longer, as they were my first favorite band as a kid, but i love the vines just as much. both are talented, and unique in sound. you should acknowledge that instead of arguing which is better or whether they are alike in sound or not.
