May 30, 2010 - I love watching bitches talk about a whole load a shit they know nothing about.
svartberg123 Says:
Jul 11, 2010 - that girl has some problem with her face - probably botox or something.they should have picked someone else for the source ...
FrancescaK4 Says:
Aug 14, 2010 - SHE'S A 3D MODEL...
svartberg123 Says:
Aug 15, 2010 - - ya, but the source model, Emily Obrien is bad, look at the lack of facial movement, which is the result of plastic surgery ....That's a bad judgment call, when their facial tracking system is capable of much more.
culturebloc Says:
Oct 4, 2010 - I completely agree. What were they thinking. Why not get in an expressive actor to really sell it. Rather than a model who looks unnatural from the offset.
0TylerDurden0 Says:
Oct 17, 2010 - all they did was copy the face. ---gave it all the blend shapes it needed.. -- but what about the lighting? she looked like she had caked makeup! --- here teeth were too specular and maybe with occlusion? she looked like she had braces. but watever. good shit
JHmagic1 Says:
Jan 4, 2011 - Yea, why bother filming someone and then digitally recreating the exact same movements. This technology is impressive, but would be even more so if they could create a fictional situation with the same realness
ArturoStojanoff Says:
Jan 25, 2011 - it's really really reallt good but you can still tell...
martinianox Says:
Jan 26, 2011 - that's really disgusting!!her mouth is so dark, like if she had had some blood or someone bitten in the brains..her teeth look dirty and out of scale...her skin is porcelain rendering, her cloth is glass-like transparency, .. think about doing something more creative for gods sake...this is a waste of time!and the light is really non realistic, coming from the top but not illuminating her hair (sunlike ligth) and leaving her face dark.. for not telling off the artificial voluming
martinianox Says:
Jan 26, 2011 - ok, on the other side it is ´close to real´ but nothing will ever be convincent enough for me, for one reason mainly: the purpose of each movement is real only if its done by a real person, and that anyone can tell, because its about something that makes sense.. or doesnt, its just as simple as that even if an army of 100 rendering monkeys struggle on each plane to get the ´real effect´ .. sorry, no reality invention is possible, you can keep trying though.. ;)
MyRikudo Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - does she even got eyelashes? i dont see any, lol...
OboePirate Says:
Apr 14, 2011 - Her eyes are the worst part of her. They don't move...right.
krasnirex Says:
Apr 19, 2011 - the problem with the eyes is that sometimes the blink has the wrong spacing. They probably didn't put all the effort they could onto this.
fe3bal Says:
Apr 25, 2011 - For almost two years old this is still outstanding .. For me it's the mouth, it's ever so slightly distorted.
fe3bal Says:
Apr 25, 2011 - I MEANT TO SAY 3!
braxinIV Says:
Jul 1, 2011 - Dude, only her face was animated. Everything else was real. Did you not see the ending where they show the real Emily?
braxinIV Says:
Jul 1, 2011 - This is really impressive. i don't know why so many people are hating on it. My question now is how would we react if we were never told it was a CGI face?
Deeredman4 Says:
Jul 15, 2011 - best animation I've seen so far...if I didn't know it was cgi I probably wouldn't have noticed...the only differences I saw that would have given it away would have been something was wrong with the eyes/mouth, her face was too smooth(not enough noise or too much anti aliasing), and finally the red in her face needed more opacity...other then that dead on :)
AllofVideos Says:
Aug 24, 2011 - Where is the CG?
Unkn0wnS0urc9 Says:
Sep 3, 2011 - still fake 1:13 her eyes o.O
armondikov Says:
Sep 21, 2011 - Well, that's the trick isn't it? Anyone can spot "mistakes" when they know what they're looking for.
braxinIV Says:
Sep 24, 2011 - Very true. It would just be really interesting to see how people reacted to the video and then a year later were told it was a CG face.
jblplaser Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - that's the way her mouth is in real life. she used to be on a soap opera that I watch :o
