Before 9 / 11 the public could walk through most of the Capitol Building and take whatever time was needed to see the art, architecture, statues and soak up all the history THROUGHOUT the building. Now we are guided like a herd of cattle into only the Rotunda and Statuary Hall and back out again. IT IS OUR BUILDING!! Terrorism has taken it away from us! Mar 30, 2012 - Your basically insulting classical architecture in general. The building looks fine and I don't quite understand how you can dislike it so much. It is a simple neoclassical building with an impressive large classical dome, much like what was in the city of Rome at the time of say Augustus or Vespasian. Plus, using vulgar language like that is really not going to add to your credibility or make you sound intelligent.
