Full auto's have been outlawed for the general public since 1974, so there isn't such a thing in the public arena, unless it's owner has a Fed. In order to keep a well maintained militia, these militia men are given access to fire arms. While our military is our first line of national defense, it is ultimately the individual American who is the last line. Our founders knew this, and thus made it into law.

May 18, 2012 - A government doesn't have to be a dictatorship to be tyrannical. And automaticrifles are almost completely regulated to military and police use in the USA. Acivilian however can own a automatic firearm if he/she possesses a speciallicense, a license that is difficult and expensive to obtain. I own an assault rifle, but it's an not automatic, it's a semi-automatic. It's sort of a stereotype that allAmericans are running around with automatic weapons when that's just not the case.
