Jan 22, 2012 - If my knees bow before christ it wont be on my free will

BUFORDize Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - MyHiddenComment.. If Your knee doesn't bow before CHRIST at your own will, then it won't bow at all..! because CHRIST will not make you bow..! CHRIST will never force one's will... HE only asks, it is, and always will be, your decision..! "BUT"..! know this My friend.. there is one waiting for you, if you chooese otherwise.. praying that CHRIST reaches your heart...!

Versengetrex Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - MyHiddenComment, you are right... in a way. If you don't bow before Him of your own will, you will still have to bow. No, it won't be of your own free will if he forces you. The key is the reason you will bow anyway - you will be unable to stand when you are in the presence of a Holy and Righteous God.

Versengetrex Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - Scripture states that "...whosoever shall fall on this stone (speaking of Christ) shall be broken (repentant, open, free): but on whomsoever it shall fall (because they refused to humble themselves), it will grind him to powder."

Versengetrex Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - In the end, the choice isn't whether or not to bow, it's whether or not to bow while you are alive. It's not whether or not to humble yourself, it's whether or not to humble yourself before its too late. It's not 'doing this of my own free will versus being forced into it', it's recognizing the only possible positive outcome and working towards that; in other words, it is seeing that Christ is the only way out of the bad situation in which our sin has placed us.

Zwittz Says:

Feb 15, 2012 - i just heard this song for the first time today. I cant stop listing to it!

Feb 21, 2012 - @careysgirl1169 what's your definition of religion? I think Christianity falls into it. Jesus did come to start the Church. I don't like 'Churchianity' though. Replacing Jesus with doctrine and ritual and rhetoric. Jesus is the focus of my religion. I know what you mean though. Lots of people talk about Jesus and go through the motions but don't know Him.

csbrown257 Says:

Feb 29, 2012 - It is never too late to let Christ take ahold of your life. The Lord loves each and every one of us. Praise the Lord!!!!!!

celtdoggy Says:

Mar 1, 2012 - You don't know the real meaning of doctrine or you would realize it is entirely different from ritual and rhetoric.

djquiz6425 Says:

Mar 2, 2012 - Sorry,I should have clarified I meant man-made doctrines.I was referring to things I see taught in churches that aren't Biblical or important to the Gospel.I do think that the divinity & humanity of Christ should be taught, and the Word being infallible, the suffering of Jesus paid for our sins, and the resurrection should be taught etc. That all speaks of Jesus and I was saying Jesus is the focus of my religion.Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I could have phrased it better.

Mar 3, 2012 - And fearful fearful is our God almightyAnd evil evil is hell aloneIt is you We roll on the floor it is youOnly you As we beat our kids will you meet us hereAs we beg for money will you meet us here

djquiz6425 Says:

Mar 11, 2012 - Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.

djquiz6425 Says:

Mar 11, 2012 - I heard how Jesus changed other people's lives and I wanted it too.I was a lying stealing cheating arrogant sexually immoral drug-addicted jerk.I wanted to stop hurting others and myself.I asked Jesus to take control of my life;I had made a mess of it.He came and purified my thought-life and heart.I believe the Son of God died for my sins and rose again. Understanding His love I trust Him and give Him control of my life. He transformed me into a new person.Never knew joy like this was possible.

TheGreenGrunt1 Says:

Mar 30, 2012 - Cool story. I interviewed an author, Bryan Davis, and he told me how people stopped being jerks, thugs, and even aborted suicide because of him. God is truly wonderful, and no matter how many secular people disagree, it will be true. Peace out, bro.

remi3197 Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - I grew up in church yet feared my parents more than God. I thought I always obeyed my parents so why did I need Jesus? I was good enough. One day, God's Spirit ministered to me even through my stubbornly-closed heart. He showed me how much better I could be. He showed me whom he has really created me to be. That was it for me. I surrendered my control and gave it to Christ. I bubbled inside with tears but held it back. What a release of tears and joy that day was when I let that go too. 3/01/97

Apr 21, 2012 - Rofl, that verse Psalm 68:4 where it says, "his name is the LORD" it's meant to be "his name is Yahweh/Jehovah" because in the Hebrew it is telling the Jews his actual name, "the LORD" is a title not a name! But, none the less I don't believe this is something for which people will be sent to hell - that is refusing to use his actual name.

ryanfire42 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - We adore him. It is him that saves. He is our comfort.
