Now, as a man, he obviously didn't have all the fucking power his dad had upstairs, he was limited to small stuff because men are small. His miracles were both to help those who needed it and to raise his credibility. Wine was really, REALLY important to people back then, so turning water into wine to save a wedding was a huge deal. He did stuff that was congruent for that time.
