May 21, 2012 - What a great time in music. Im so glad I was a teen back then and not now. Alot of people dont know it, but the Who was only paid $12,500 for Woodstock. Most acts got between $5 and $8,000. to perform. The highest paid was Hendrix, for $18,000. Back then it was alot of cash. How ironic,back then they had talent,could sing,andf got paid peanuts. Today, they cant sing, no talent,and they get millions,LOL. Dont care, still glad I grew up back then when music kicked ass and we had Rock n Roll.
