Jan 23, 2012 - hip hop sampling isn't about musical correctness. samples from different keys, pitch them to get them in time and fool around until it sounds good (which IS correct). so a bit of ropey guitar playing is actually a pretty safe starting point. i think this is one of the most fun projects i've seen in a long time and is actually pretty rock and roll compared to a lot of other stuff i'm hearing that sounds like people were working within their comfort zones. feeling pretty inspired right now
