Feb 13, 2010 - A) Wikipedia is not used by those who have access to thousands of peer-reviewed journals containing objective research, so no thank you, I won't be looking at wiki.B) As for Baker v Nelson, the decision was made in 1971 in a conservative part of the country and the judge is quoted as saying "The institution of marriage as a union man and woman, uniquely involving the procreation and rearing of children within a family, is as old as the book of Genesis." This confirms the bias of said judge cont

Feb 13, 2010 - And reality shows no downfall of society but better stats on teenage pregnancy, abortion, rape, homicide, divorce, poverty in countries that accept other relationships besides straight marriage. You'd think if you truly cared as much as you claim you do about society that would mean something to you but clearly it doesn't AT ALL!

Feb 13, 2010 - and does not make a strong case that rights are not being violated. Say what you will, but a similar argument was made when interracial marriage was put on the books as illegal. Simply put, before Christianity same-sex marriage was accepted in many pats of the world by many peoples. The Abrahamic religions have spawned a number of prejudices, none of which a true humanitarian would find acceptable. Using the belief of a religion/s to withhold a basic right is despicable, no matter how you put it

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Dude, you are the one talking of human rights!"Our" side is talking of civil rights! There is nothing specifically about the right to get married in the human rights declaration for straight people either. Perhaps YOU should start a campaign for it to be added! The right for straight people only to get married as long as the sole purpose of that marriage is procreation! That IS your definition isn't it?

idea1013 Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Not only does your statement not make sense linguistically, it reads illogically. Perhaps you could try to clarify your point.

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - ROFL Too true dude. Also in any non English speaking country it is nor ever was called marriage. And yes it is a socially constructed word and society is changing all the time. For instance it is now about 45% of Americans who do not object to gay marriage but amongst the younger generation ( teenagers) that percentage is much higher!Get them tissues ready honey! The definition is about to expand to include gays! Get ready to live in a more enlightened society! :D :D :D

Feb 13, 2010 - red: That is one of my all-time favorite arguments because of course, it is impossible to defend once infertile couples, elderly couple and those who do not want children are added into the discussion. That's usually when the focus is shifted to the "it's unnatural" argument, which is also laughable since nearly 1500 species have been found to participate in homosexual acts. So many people find it hard to come out and say "G-d tells me to discriminate against you so that's what I'm doing."

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Don't bother with his, from what I hear very lengthy, BS PM's.You can hear all about them here..watch?v=Qfn8t54xB3oIt's a response to Kenballer's PM and he of course then claimed he was "set up" and didn't dare to show up again. He is now off "finishing me off" ROFL

Feb 13, 2010 - its interesting that you would pick a culture that has collasped and has not lasted for hundreds of thousands of years which is what i said not just hundreds of years, but that experts in the field have indeed referenced how the Roman empire collasped primarily (but not only of course) on the principle of the family structure falling apart . one of the many factors that was noted (by experts) to have eroded the family was the acceptance of homosexuality and i can prove that

idea1013 Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Oh yes, BTL42 is where I heard of him- I knew the name was familiar! I don't mind an argument as long as its civil and based in logic- if he can maintain those two things, I say bring it on; who knows, I might even make some headway with him. Thanks for the heads up though :D

Tyrtamus Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Bullshit. Go troll somewhere else, or go to school.

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - experts that lived in the 17 and 18 hundreds and the most up to date expert? A guy who published his view in 1947 and was disagreed with by most of his colleagues at that time. So, is that your definition of "finishing folks off" then? You amending your words to "different" or adding "but not only of course" ?Or maybe your definition is "ignoring 90% of all counterarguments" ?Well, that's okay...I guess just like with marriage, the definition of "finish off" also changes.

kenballer00 Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - oh, i am sorry you can't accept the TRUTH and can no longer respond adequately. i will go to someone else who has not been exposed yet

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Not exposed to your trolling BS yet??? There still are those???

reddragonready Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - So that somewhere else will not be the video where you keep claiming to "finish me off" but still haven't? When 3 times I fulfilled your requirements for your Final Blow to take place!

Tyrtamus Says:

Feb 13, 2010 - Truth? The truth is you're a hateful little kid. Fuck you.

DungeonSF Says:

Feb 14, 2010 - SCANDALOUS!

DungeonSF Says:

Feb 14, 2010 - what's up with all that commentary at the end?

MrAniallator Says:

Feb 21, 2010 - You guys do know that the earthquake in Hayti was God's judgement/wrath upon homosexuals and blacks, right?

riseofatheism Says:

Feb 21, 2010 - You mean against Roman Catholics? Since Haiti is 80% Catholic.

furnatic Says:

Jun 23, 2010 - If that is the case, I hope God punishes you for your misspelling of Haiti.

Glavenator Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - I typically agree with the things you say, but I've noticed 2 powerful flaws in your logic in this video. The first being that nobody said that ALL homosexual couples will raise homosexual children. It's a proven fact that they don't. I personally have a heterosexual friend raised by a homosexual couple. The accurate accusation is that it is more likely a child raised by a homosexual couple may be homosexual, which is likely true, but only openly so, as they will be more accepting of it.

Glavenator Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - The second issue I have is with the claim that everything a human does is natural. It has been said by many psychologists, anthropologists, and scientists, my personal favorite of which being Dr. Michio Kaku, that humanity has been separated from natural evolution, and nature itself, by gaining awareness of the line between the unnatural and the natural. By your logic, no thing a human does could be considered unnatural, even nuclear fusion reactors or chemical engineering.

Glavenator Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - This is all not to say I disagree with your points, only the way you are making them. I love your channel and typically find your commentary very interesting.
