This was a live broadcast and she is a litlle nervous here as you would expect Thanks for the many interesting comments :) Born Elizabeth Grant (June 21, 1986) now better known by her stage name Lana Del Ray. Her stage name is a combination of the late old Hollywood actress Lana Turner and the Ford Del Rey Lana's song "Video Games" was named "Best New Track" by Pitchfork Tickets for Grant's show in London sold out in half an hour She wrote the song with songwriter Justin Parker after he played her the piano chords that would become its backbone. The song is about a relationship, in which she expresses her frustration at making all the running. She explained to Complex Magazine: "When you're an introvert like me and you've been lonely for a while, and then you find someone who understands you, you become really attached to them. It's a real release." Del Ray's lyrics were inspired by two broken relationships in her past. "The verse was about the way things were with one person, and the chorus was the way that I wished things had really been with another person, who I thought about for a long time," she told Socialstereotype.com, breaking into an acapella of the song. A look at a Vectrex (1982 video game console)

twitter.com Do you like straight lines and old arcade games? Then the Vectrex may well be the console for you! Released in 1982, the Vectrex features an intriguing built-in vector monitor (basically a normal CRT monitor with different control circuitry) that left the living room TV free for Dad to watch the first ever episode of Taggart. The display is strictly black and white, but by using the astonishingly MacGyver-esque technique of placing coloured plastic overlays on the screen you can make everything look a bit blue. So what games are there? A nifty rip-off of Asteroids called Mine Storm (just don't reach level 13). There's an overly leisurely version of Berzerk. Then there's Spike, a little star man equipped with River Dance jig and the ability to teleport ladders in his quest to save Molly from the evil Spud. And finally Star Ship. Yes you guessed it, nifty spaceships with magic hypnotizing square effects that I still don't understand despite playing it several times. As far as we know, this is the only video games console ever released that can cause permanent retina damage even if played on a moderate brightness setting. But don't worry - your eyes are quite safe through the filter of YouTube. Pity about mine.
