Now in its 3rd gen www.vauxhall.co.uk Vauxhall's New Combo light van is based on the fiat Doblo and is available with two wheel basis and two roof heights. It has load lengths of 1.8m on the standard van and rising to 2.2 for the long wheel base. These first images of the new generation Opel Astra GTC may show it in a virtual landscape, but as it races down an imaginary road, real test cars are now running final validation drives: The Astra GTC is officially a production reality. And on June 7 -- in just six weeks' time -- Opel will reveal full details about the Astra GTC to coincide with its order books opening. Pricing, technology, equipment and powertrains will be laid bare, giving customers the chance to specify their ideal model and place an order early. The first production version of the new Opel Astra GTC will then receive its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show, on September 15, 2011. Based on last year's Opel GTC Paris concept car presented early October 2010 at the Mondial de l'Automobile, the production Astra GTC will be a 5-seater, 3-door sporty compact car with dramatic proportions. It will feature the very best of Opel's latest technology, as well as unique chassis features.

Vauxhall Hidden Personal Options - Turn Off 3 Flashes etc - Some Models from 2008
I've been told this does not work on any of the Astra models. This system is used from mid 2008 onwards Although this is listed in the owners handbook most people don't know about it. Put the ignition key in but don't turn it. Pull both stalks towards you until you hear a beep... (3 seconds) Use indicator stalk up and down to select P1, P2 etc, then the wiper stalk up or down to change status or input a value. P1 - Welcome lights, on/off : Turns on your headlights when you unlock. P2 - Auto Rear wiper (comes on when reverse is selected with main wipers active) P3 - Touch control for indicators, on/off - 3 flashes for lane change P4 - Automatic door & tailgate locking, on/off - above aprox 10mph P5 - Separate driver door unlocking, on/off - One click opens all doors & boot (off) P6 - Speed limiter warning, on/off : You'll find it very annoying... P7 - Warning tones volume, 1-5 :Volume of the indicator ticking sound Pull both stalks back until you hear a beep to store your settings. Note - After 10 seconds with no input it will revert to the previous settings so don't take too long choosing. This stores the settings for the key your using, so you'll need to repeat for each key. Also any radio stations stored will only show with the key that was in use at the time. AFL (adaptive forward lighting) If you have AFL you can make your headlights aim lower for driving on the other side (when abroad). With the ignition switched off hold the main beam stalk towards you and switch on ...

Opel Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept First Promo
Designed to preview the Astra OPC / VXR, the concept features an aggressive front fascia, LED daytime running lights and muscular rear wheel haunches. Other highlights include a roof-mounted spoiler, aluminum window trim and 21-inch wheels with carbon-fiber inserts. Inside, the cabin is outfitted with sports seats, metallic trim, contrast stitching and a sports steering wheel. Motivation is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 290 PS (213 kW / 286 bhp). It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, which sends power to the front wheels through a limited slip differential. For improved handling, engineers installed a FlexRide suspension and a compound crank rear axle with a Watt's link. According to Opel, the Watt's link "...better supports lateral forces on the suspension while cornering.
