Milli Vanilli on Top Of The Pops with a good version of "Girl You Know It's True". Pity BBC put titles to spoil it.

Milli Vanilli - Girl You Know it's True (1990 Grammys)

Milli Vanilli performing "Girl You Know it's True" on the Grammys, February 1990. A cursory view will reveal that they were lip-synching the whole song (watch the times you hear words sung while the mic was pulled away). See my other video of Milli Vanilli winning the Best New Artist Grammy just minutes later; the Grammy would be revoked 9 months later after it became public knowledge that Rob and Fab (who you see here) did not sing on the Milli Vanilli album or any of its singles.

THE REAL MILLI VANILLI - Keep On Running

Taken from album "Keep On Running" (The Moment Of Truth), 1991 realmillivanilli.narod.ru http millivanilli-bio.narod.ru http In November 1998, the English language magazine Main City (a FAZ publication) published a critically written report on the demise of the Milli Vanilli artist Robert Pilatus under the title 'When the Music Stopped...' " When Robert Pilatus, 32, was found dead in his hotel room in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt in April (1998), it was the end of a drawn out downward spiral, hastened by humiliation and drugs." In addition to the term humiliation, the author also noted that "Pilatus' fall from the top of the pop world was steeper than any that had ever occurred before." "A music industry intent on proving its legitimacy in the face of scandal virtually erased Milli Vanilli from its playlists and its history." None of this corresponds to what really happened - neither the humiliation saga, nor the Milli Vanilli finale. Milli Vanilli were never removed from music history. The Grammy was returned, but that is the only true element of the report. And the scandal, which happened just as Farian had predicted, cost Farian neither fame nor money - with the exception of the 400000 dollars he donated by way of compensation. The real Milli Vanilli catastrophe was neither commercial nor musical. It was Robert Pilatus's death from a drug overdose. But this, practically a suicide in instalments, was not provoked by drugs and humiliation, but rather through drugs alone ...

The Milli Vanilli Tragedy

The story of the 90's band Milli Vanilli. Unfortunately it didn't have a happy ending but I have a lot of respect for Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan. I know it's not their fault all of this happened and it's really sad they had to give their grammy back. RIP Rob Pilatus

Milli Vanilli - Girl I'm gonna miss you (HQ Audio)

lyrics.. -- I knew it from the start You would break my heart But you still I had to play this painful part You wrapped me 'round your little bitty finger With your magic smile You kept me hangin' on a lovers cross a while You put your spell on me Took my breath away But there was nothin' I could do to make you stay I'm gonna miss you All the love I feel for you Nothing could make me change my point of view Oh girl I'm gonna miss you baby (CHORUS:) Giving all the love I feel for you Couldn't make you change your point of view You're leavin' Now I'm sittin' here, I'm wastin' my time I just don't know what I should do It's a tragedy for me To see the dream is over And I never will forget the day we met Girl I'm gonna miss you Like a honey bee You took the best of me Now I can't erase those memories Like a fairy tale You are so unreal You left a scar that's so hard to heal When you had a taste of paradise Back on earth can feel As cold as ice I'm gonna miss you I miss you Rest In Peace, Rob Pilatus.

Milli Vanilli ( w/ The Real Milli Vanilli ) : Girl I"m Gonna Miss You ( Long Extended Remix )

Milli Vanilli was a pop/dance music project formed by Frank Farian in Germany in 1988, fronted by Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. The group's debut album achieved high sales internationally which earned them a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1990. The act became one of the most popular pop acts in the late 1980s and early 1990s. However, their success turned to infamy when their Grammy was revoked after it was revealed that the lead vocals on the record were not the actual voices of Morvan and Pilatus. In 1998, ten years after Milli Vanilli's initial debut, Pilatus was found dead in a Frankfurt hotel of an apparent drug overdose. When Frank Farian developed the concept of Milli Vanilli, he chose to feature vocals by Charles Shaw, John Davis, Brad Howell, and twin sisters Jodie and Linda Rocco; however, he felt that those singers lacked a marketable image. He then recruited Morvan and Pilatus, two younger and more photogenic model/dancers he found dancing in a Berlin dance club, to front the act. In order to restore their career and prominence after a series of failures, Farian agreed in 1997 to produce a new Milli Vanilli album with Morvan and Pilatus on lead vocals. This all led up to the recording of the 1998 Milli Vanilli comeback album Back and in Attack. Even some of the original studio singers backed the performers in their attempt to bring back some of the fame that had been shed so quickly. However, Pilatus encountered a number of personal problems during the ...
