NGOs, an extension of US foreign policy
The world is facing a decline in political rights and civil liberties, according to the organization Freedom House. Many US NGOs, like Freedom House, go into other countries to provide humanitarian aid but it seems their hidden agenda is to make these countries more like the US. Mark Weisbrot says many NGOs were set up to act as an extension of US foreign policy and set up in places like Venezuela and Haiti.
The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy
In the recent study "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy", the authors of the paper, Professor Stephen Walt of Harvard University and John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago, charge that the United States has willingly set aside its own security and that of many of its allies in order to advance the interests of Israel. In addition the study accuses the pro-Israeli lobby, particularly AIPAC of manipulating the US media, policing academia and silencing critics of Israel by labeling them as anti-Semitic. A new article in the New York Review of Books examines the controversial report and the reaction to it. It's called "The Storm Over the Israel Lobby." It was written by media critic Michael Massing, who joins Amy Goodman for the interview. Michael is a contributing editor of the Columbia Journalism Review and frequently writes for the New York Review of Books. You can read the transcript of the interview at: www.democracynow.org

Armed Chinese Troops in Texas!
revolutionpac.com Make sure to LIKE, FAVORITE, SHARE, and COMMENT. Lets push this to the top! NOTE: It is important to separate hunting down terrorists who attack our country and deserve justice (which Ron Paul is 100% for), and not confuse justice with occupying entire countries for a decade under the guise of the "War on Terror" or "Spreading Democracy". Terrorists are individuals and small groups, so why are we picking fights with entire nations? BILLIONS for Defense, NOT A PENNY for Empire. This speech is called "Imagine" and it was given by Ron Paul on March 11, 2009. The original text of the talk is below: Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests." Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up checkpoints on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops, and ...

US foreign policy violates democracy, sovereignty
For 62 years, the School of the Americas at Fort Benning, Georgia, has trained some of the worst human rights abusers in the hemisphere. This weekend, tens of thousands of activists will converge on the gates of Fort Benning to demand an end to the torture, the coups and the assassinations.SOA Watch founder Roy Bourgeois said the School of the Americas is a symbol of US foreign policy and needs to be addressed. He explained that US tax payers are spending billion to train foreign military leaders who return to their home nations and wreak havoc on their populations, including union leaders, the poor, and political advocates. These people are the victims of the School of Americas, victims of US foreign policy. Bourgeois' going is to close down the School of the Americas permanently, because it is an obstacle to democracy and sovereignty in Latin America.
