Check out the ET Adventure ride at Universal Studios Florida (USF). Watch in HD. ET Adventure is a dark ride featured at Universal Studios Florida and formerly, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Studios Japan theme parks. The ride is based on the movie ET the Extra-Terrestrial. It is expected to open at Universal Studios South Korea and Universal Studios Dubailand in the near future. ET Adventure originally opened at Universal Studios Florida in 1990. One year later, the attraction opened in Universal Studios Hollywood. In 2001, the third installation of this attraction was opened in Universal Studios Japan. On March 14, 2003, the Hollywood version was closed and later replaced by Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride. More recently, on May 10, 2009, the Japan version was closed and later replaced by Space Fantasy: The Ride. ET Adventure is expected to open at Universal Studios South Korea and Universal Studios Dubailand in the near future. The attraction at Universal Studios Florida originally featured a different pre-show which ran from 1990-2002. During this pre-show, Steven Spielberg is in a movie theater watching ET and informs the riders that we have volunteered to be actors in a sequel to the film. The original pre-show was discontinued, because Spielberg wanted to change it for the 20th Anniversary. It should also be noted that the original pre-show was projected onto a large single screen, while the current one is shown on multiple TV monitors.

Recorded today october 04, 2011 Jurassic Park River Adventure is a water ride that is based on Steven Spielberg's hit film Jurassic Park and Michael Crichton's novel. It is a duplicate of the original Jurassic Park: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. The Vekoma water ride was originally designed as the flagship attraction for Islands of Adventure.[7] Throughout the queue, guests will be confronted by a series of televisions which show a video of the history of "Jurassic Island", a video showcasing various species of dinosaurs and a safety presentation. Riders taller than 42 inches (110 cm) board their boat which heads up a short hill and then splashes down into a calm river. A narrator can be heard throughout the ride through the use of hidden speakers in the foliage. Throughout the first section of the ride guests are surrounded by prehistoric trees which conceal audio-animatronic dinosaurs. Knocked off course, the boats accidentally leave their tour path into a back of house area where more dangerous dinosaurs are contained. Riders pass the Jurassic Park Raptor Containment building which is surrounded by a damaged electric fence before passing another boat which had crashed into the cement walkway surrounding the river. The boat enters the Environmental Systems Building which conceals a lift hill which takes riders to a height of over 85 feet (26 m).
