TURK PYRAMIDS.China's Secret: Hidden Uyghur-Turk Pyramids.
TURKS ARE CHILDREN OF LOST CONTINENT OF MU.(ATLANTIS) Those are over 100 pyramids, made of clay, have become nearly stone hard over the centuries. Many are damaged by erosion or farming. One pyramid is as large as the Pyramid of the Sun of Teotihuacan in Mexico (which is as large as the Great Pyramid of Giza). The big pyramid is about 1000 feet high (other descriptions estimate 1000 to 1200 feet high) and roughly 1500 feet at the base, which makes it twice as large as any pyramid in Egypt. Most are flat topped, some have small temples on top. Chinese officials have rebuffed all questions about these pyramids and all requests to view them since they are among top secret of China. Successive dynasties have safeguarded the secret from the outside world, the Communists included with the sites being in Forbidden zones - that is until recently when too many toursists coming from the Terracotta Army kept 'discovering' them. They have been planted with trees to disguise them as hills from the air. The Chinese authorities finally admitted to the 'existence of pyramidal structures' in the 1980s, nowadays some of them even have visitor centres attached. At the end of the 19th and the first few decades of the 20th century, scientific and archaeological expeditions to the region along the Silk Road in East Turkestan led to the discovery of numerous Uyghur cave temples, monastery ruins, wall paintings, statues, frescoes, valuable manuscripts, documents and books. Members of the ...
James Turk gives his timeline on the Dollar's Collapse and Gold's role as the messenger!
Follow us @ twitter.com twitter.com Welcome to Capital Account. With Italian and Spanish bond yields back on the rise, we've recently seen the Dutch government collapse under the weight of austerity talks and French president Nicolas Sarkozy defeated after the first-round of elections. As price discovery is guarded against in the financial markets, are we seeing its emergence reflected in the delicacy of eurozone governments as discontent is being "priced into" the democratic process? Central banks may not be waiting to find out if major currencies -- the euro or the US dollar -- will collapse or be devalued. They are stocking up on gold. IMF data shows Mexico added close to 17 tons of gold to its reserves in March. Turkey, Russia and Kazakhstan are buying gore too. We speak with GoldMoney founder James Turk about why he thinks central banks could be guarding themselves from the confetti cannon currency being shot around the globe. And in the US, we've seen oil prices become a political football in an election year. We'll look at what the onion market can teach us about oil speculation. What is really to blame for higher oil prices?

John Embry and James Turk on why the Gold Bull Market isn't Over
Subscribe to our newsletter at www.goldmoney.com This video was shot Friday 18 May 2012 in Jersey, Channel Islands. James Turk and John Embry discuss recent volatility and panic in the gold and silver markets. According to John Embry markets are now highly oversold. He mentions the "leap day slaughter" and the counterintuitive situation in which gold and silver prices went down on the backdrop of negative economic news and money printing. Natural selling followed forced selling. Embry thinks the bottom is being tested right now and that there's a lot of upward potential with limited risk. He notes that if you're negative on gold, you must be bullish on currencies, which doesn't make sense in the current environment. James notes the media's negative sentiment towards gold lately, which has scared people away from the metals. He also notes that the banking system is falling apart in Europe, which should boost gold's status as a safe haven asset. For a complete description of this video go to: www.goldmoney.com

Doug Casey talks to James Turk
Subscribe to our newsletter at www.goldmoney.com In this video, Doug Casey, founder and chairman of Casey Research Institute, talks to the GoldMoney Foundation's James Turk about the greater depression that is facing the developed world. In Casey's view, finding intriguing investment opportunities is difficult at the moment, owing to the dislocations affecting economies as a result of central banks' money printing efforts. He does however think that tangible assets such as precious metals, land and fine art remain the best options available at the moment. In stark contrast, Casey is extremely downbeat on bonds and the US dollar. He thinks that given the incredible levels that bond prices have risen to as a result of panicked safe-haven buying by hedge funds, they represent an excellent shorting opportunity for speculators. Turk and Casey also discuss the opportunities to be had in mining shares, though Doug also points out the significant risks that mining companies face -- relating to political pressure from politicians and environmentalists. He says that investors need to be aware of these risks, but remains bullish on junior gold and silver producers. Casey and Turk also discuss whether or not technological advances will ever gold obsolete as a potential form of money and store of value. Casey points out that according to Aristotle's definition of good money, gold will always remain the best form of money. In his words: "gold is uniquely suitable for use as money ...

Chris Martenson and James Turk talk about Europe and the global economy
Subscribe to our newsletter at www.goldmoney.com In this video Chris Martenson - economic analyst at chrismartenson.com and author of The Crash Course and James Turk, Director of the GoldMoney Foundation talk about the problems facing the eurozone as well as the global economy. Chris Martenson points out that the whole world simply has too much debt. This is why he believes that there won't be a real solution to the euro crisis. The big question will rather be who will take losses on the debt, which can't possibly be repaid. The lack of political leadership and unwillingness to accept reality is contributing to this crisis. Additionally, the monetary tools central banks have traditionally used to revive economies are starting to show less and less effect. In Martenson's view, the financial sector has become way to large and interlinked across borders, so that a default by one country could bring down the whole financial systems, because credit default swaps would get triggered and could bring down the writers of those derivatives. James Turk mentions that today, commercial banks as well as central banks are leveraged at unsustainable levels. While both agree that it makes sense to get back to less risky traditional banking and a sound money system, Martenson raises the question of how it will be possible to bring the leverage down to prudent levels again and how to get rid of the huge amount of complex derivatives. That said, Martenson argues that the gold standard has ...
James Turk's presentation on the gold price and the US dollar
James Turk of the GoldMoney Foundation speaks about currency devaluation and the rising gold price. How the gold price is rising against all major currencies and monetary policy is political, having abandoned all pretence of seeking monetary stability. He warns of the dangers of a hyperinflationary crisis. James also explains why gold should be considered money and not an investment. He also talks of the coming dollar collapse and the waterfall decline in the dollar, especially since Ben Bernanke's words on QE. He talks of different examples of hyperinflation from paper money hyperinflation in Weimar Germany to deposit currency hyperinflation in Argentina. The presentation was held on 29 April 2011 in Munich, Germany.
How to Tie (Cylinder, Mat & Ball) Turk's Heads by TIAT
The 3-lead 4-bight Turk's Head is one of the most requested knots for me to show how to tie. Still, Ive resisted showing how to tie it on account so many others have already done so. This said, after reviewing videos and scrutinizing the methods shown, I discovered that others tie the 3L4B Turk's Head differently than I do, and so I feel its valid to show my method. To add something uncommon to the common, I additionally show the relationships between the 3L4B Turks Head on a staff, as a mat and as a ball—all of which are effectively the same knot.
Adam Fergusson talks to James Turk
Subscribe to our newsletter at www.goldmoney.com Historian Adam Fergusson discusses his cult-classic history of the Weimar hyperinflation, When Money Dies, with James Turk from the GoldMoney Foundation. They discuss the fateful decisions that led to hyperinflation in post-First World War Germany, and how central bankers as well as ordinary members of the public today would be well advised to heed this warning from history. Fergusson discusses how the hyperinflation affected different groups in German society in different ways -- with debtors benefitting and huge numbers of middle-class savers wiped out. Riots, corruption and political extremism were just some of the malignancies encouraged by the hyperinflation. He points out that those who held hard currencies as well as people who held tangible assets like gold and silver were in-large part protected from the worst economic consequences of the hyperinflation. In his words: "gold remained at all times in Germany the measure of what was important to them." James and Adam discuss whether or not today there is any way for governments in the developed world to repay their huge debts. Both men conclude that inflation is the only politically viable method of repudiating these unmanageable obligations. Fergusson highlights the importance of velocity and the demand for money in determining whether or not inflation turns into hyperinflation -- though points out that this tipping point can take a surprisingly long-time to arrive ...

James Grant and James Turk discuss gold, the Fed and the fiscal situation of the USA
James Grant of Grant's Interest Rate Observer (www.grantspub.com and James Turk of the GoldMoney Foundation discuss the history and mission of the Fed, how mission creep has taken it wildly beyond its initial purpose into the territory of QE, ZIRP and other fiat currency experiments. They talk about who benefit from zero interest rates and how savers are penalized by this easy money policy. They explain that the US have been off the gold standard since 1913, Bretton Woods being only a shadow of the classical gold standard. In the last 40 years low interest rates have encouraged leverage and speculation, which have reached incredible levels. They discuss the fiscal profligacy of the US government. A solution to debt levels could still be found if the political will existed. US strengths and positive momentum could still be harnessed to save the dollar if people's eyes could be opened. However they conclude that every paper currency in history has eventually gone to zero. James and Jim also talk about ZIRP and the absence of the bond vigilantes after over 30 years of bull market in bonds. How traders no longer care about fundamentals, like balance sheets, but rather focus on very short time horizons and the spreads between funding costs and yields. How this situation is unsustainable. They see gold still as a very under-owned, misunderstood and marginal asset still shunned by institutional investors, with a few notable exceptions which indicate that the tide could be ...

DIE GESCHICHTE DES TÜRKEN - THE HISTORY OF TURKS
The word Türk ment "strong" in the Old Turkic language. Nowadays, it is either a reference to a member of the Turkic peoples or to a member of the Turkish ethnicity. Additionally, it is also used as a reference to the citizens of Turkey. The word "Türk" itself is a later form of "tu-kin", name given by the Chinese to the people living south of the Altai Mountains of Central Asia as early as 177 BC. The English word "Turkey" is derived from the Medieval Latin "Turchia" (c.1369), which is taken from the native Turkish name Türkiye ("Land of the Turks"), consiting of the word "Türk" and the Arabic abstract suffix -iye, which means "owner" or "related to". The term "Türk" or "Türük" which means derivative from OTr "tür" (genus, species, type) was first used as an autonym in the Orkhon inscriptions of the Göktürks (Sky Turks) of Central Asia. The term Turk had negative connotations in Europe that were established during the Crusades and the period of Ottoman expansion. In medieval Christian European circles, it was used interchangeably with the term Muslim and generally had such derogatory connotations as infidel and savage. It is a neutral term related to ethnicity in Turkic languages. The Turkish term, Türk, can also be used with several meanings. In official use, it generally refers to Turkish citizens. Colloquially, it is often used to refer to Turkish ethnicity. The inability or unwillingness to distinguish between the two meanings is a cause of much friction in Turkish ...
Adam Fleming and James Turk on Precious Metals and Mining
Subscribe to our newsletter at www.goldmoney.com This interview was shot 18 May 2012. Adam Fleming, Chairman of Wits Gold and Fleming Family & Partners, discusses the gold bull market with GoldMoney's James Turk. Topics include metal price action, the eurozone's debt crisis, and mining in South Africa. Both men think that we are the "in the foothills" of a long precious metals bull market, and that the gold price is in some ways cheaper than it was back when they spoke at GATA's Dawson City conference in 2005, owing to all the quantitative easing -- or more bluntly, money printing -- that central banks have engaged in since the financial crisis of 2008. Adam points out that gold bull markets usually result in a 1:1 Dow/Gold ratio, something that he expects to see happen in the coming years. For the full description go to: www.goldmoney.com
