Personal Message from GakAttack: What I do for this channel is not easy. Since last year, I just started learning VFX compositing, fight choreography, freerunning, tricking, stunts, and film making in general. I have no background in any of these and I'm still a noob (minus martial arts, I have a strong background in that). I couldn't even do a b-twist 6 months ago, but now i'm learning a crapload of cool moves. I'm doing youtube fulltime now, and I have to keep learning new VFX tricks, sustain my training regiment to learn new flips/cool moves, and stay fit/healthy. It's time intensive, and training in any physical skill requires a lot of time and consistency... which tends to take away a lot of time from editing/VFX work. I'm still trying to find a balance in time between the two so please be patient with me! Goals for 2012: - create a giant robot/mecha video - put in one or two big stunts in a video - improve plot/story in vids - improve acting/dialogue - improve weapon choreography (swords, staffs, etc) - add a bit more diversity to fight choreo - revamp my cosplay videos and make them more epic 2011 has been an interesting year, expect more and better things from me in 2012. Advancedbiker - Balancing the throttle

Bend assessment............ I have been trying to find a better word to use on the radio for the action to take when you go round a bend. I have used POWER in the past, but BALANCE seems to be a better word. What is this BALANCE ? When approaching a bend, get your speed right before you enter, get the right responsive gear for the speed and the bend, but on entering the bend the forces of nature etc take a bit of the power off you, so yo need to compensate for this by applying a bit of throttle. Neither accelkeratin aor decelerating. Hence the term BALANCE - Throttle just on. Any minor adjusts in speed them can be made too fast throttle off and the bike responds. STAYING ON LINE This rider tended to come off line too early. You need to stay on line IF SAFE till you have your view.

This was a fun little "de-stress" painting that I created last night. There is not a lot of "there" there in the concept, but it was a nice exercise. I have been trying to find a good balance of natural world and sci-fi. I enjoy seeing visions of the future that are optimistic, but they seem to miss the drama that a dogfight between concept spaceships ripping through the middle of the piece, an invasion of a robot army or an alien attack would bring. I will find the hook and the stories that I want to tell one of these days, but for now, it is nice mind numbing way to end the day. Hope you enjoy, Scot

Text is from II Samuel 18:33 When David heard that Absalom was slain, he went up into his chamber over the gate and wept, and thus he said, "My son, my son, O Absalom my son, would God I had died for thee! O Absalom, my son, my son!" When David Heard was premiered by the BYU Singers in March of 1999 and was recorded in the Museum of Art on the BYU Campus. It appears on the Singer's CD: Eric Whitacre: The Complete A Cappella Works, 1991-2001. Commissioned for the Singers by the Barlow Endowment for the Arts, Eric was partly inspired by news that the choir director's 19 yr old son was killed in a car accident. PLEASE READ ME! Hi everyone! I wanted to fill you in on the different skin care products i've been trying and experimenting with. I don't want to fully focus on the routine since everyone has unique skin and there are so many ways to treat it. Please don't take this video as encouragement to follow the same routine and use the same products I do. Since I am so experimental, I already plan on trying a different and perhaps much more natural routine very soon. You will notice that I went a little product crazy in the past several months but that is just so I can test different things out. Skin type: Combination/Oily but mostly Oily now with a lot of large and congested pores. I used to hate having oily skin but now I embrace it. I treat my skin by ridding it of dead skin cell build up and hydrating internally and topically. Don't use harsh products or over-dry your skin even if it's oily.
