Joe Trohman is a terrible guitarist. A fellow musician tells you why. Edit: I'm getting sick of these idiots posting pointless comments "ur JUST JEALOUS OF HIM!!!" "u are so stupid u no nothing" or "UR NOT A REAL FAN CUZ U DUN LIKE JOE!!!" Comments like those will be deleted. You are welcome to disagree. IF you can actually make a well though out comment. Trohmania fails hard my friends. Just watch the videos where he gives a guitar lesson. You can tell he has no idea what he is talking about. I'm sorry that you are 12 year old girls who are completely ignorant about music, but that doesn't make Joe a good guitar player. Patrick is better in every possible way. Even Ryan Ross from Panic! At the Disco is better than Joe. Playing Power Chords in every song is not a sign of skill. -Joe sucks technically -Joe is not creative or original. Patrick writing the music is proof of this -My fellow musicians agree that he blows. Spam me with bad comments about how pathetic you think I am, but it isn't going to change anything or make my point any less valid.

Coal Chamber drummer Mikey "Bug" Cox broke two fingers while playing at the Brisbane, Australia date of the "Soundwave Festival". Dez Fafara confirmed the news on his Twitter Bug is going to play through it and should not miss any dates of the bands reunion tour in Australia! It's a Bugs life! With Knives the side project of Josh Newton (The Damned Things, ex-Every Time I Die) and Joe Trohman (The Damned Things, Fall Out Boy). It looks like Trohman is handling most of the vocals for the recording sessions. He did say that he expects Newton to contribute a bit of vocals as well in the future. The Empire Shall Fall have released a statement: "As you all probably know, Jesse has rejoined Killswitch Engage. This will not affect us, except that it might take slightly longer to release these next volumes. We have been working on Volume 2 and Volume 3, and hope to start recording soon." The band has a North American Tour booked now. The Damned Things Interview
BareBonesMusic.com sat down recently with Joe Trohman and Rob Caggiano from the band THE DAMNED THINGS. We caught up with them on their current leg of the Jägermeister Music Tour with Buckcherry, All That Remains and Hellyeah in support of their first release Ironiclast. Evil G. spoke with the guys about when starting the band what the initial reaction was from industry insiders and how hard was it for them to be taken seriously. How the band because a three guitar band with addition of Rob and making it work and how Rob and Joe's working relationship took the band from side project to full blown band. How the band worked on achieving a sound that didn't lean toward an Anthrax, Fall Out Boy or Every Time I Die sound and created their own style and the complexities involved in their songs. How Keith developed as a singer on this record and not just a well known screamer. Reactions from fans of The Damned Things and not just from their other band's fans and playing their first show. Finally Joe sums up the sound of the band as having, "a lot of fuck" in their music and a very interesting take on the type of people who might not "get" their band. Rob adds, "I think anyone that's in to good rock 'n' roll is going to dig this band."
