On the 15th October 1997 Thrust SSC became the first land vehicle to break the sound barrier. Piloted by Wing Commander Andy Green of the RAF, an average speed of 763.035mph over the flying mile was achieved The music is from the game GTR2 and is called Spa 24hrs. Comments open for business again!

A Short Video of the Thrust SSC. Thrust SSC broke the sound barrier back in October 15, 1997. It achieved a speed of 1228 km/h (763 mph) and the SSC became the first land vehicle to officially break the sound barrier. Thrust SSC also has the the manned land speed record under its belt and has not been beaten to this day. The twin engines developed a thrust of 223 kN (50000 lbf) and burned around 4 Imperial gallons per second (18.2 l/s or 4.8 US gallons/s).

In KSP, you're responsible for building, launching and flying rockets in your own fledgling space program on planet Kerbin. SU-34 Sukhoi Fullback Thrust Vector RC EDF Jet Intro and Maiden
My New SU-34 Sukhoi FullBack Thrust Vectoring Twin Engine EDF jet, from Hobby-Lobby. This is the maiden flight and Intro to the Su-34. With it's twin Thrust Vectoring, the plane is amazing! For this flight I was getting it trimmed out, getting a feel for Thrust Vectoring and thus, kept the flying to a rather safe style of flying. But, I am really looking forward to seeing what this Thrust Vectoring (TV) can do for 3D Jet Flying. I've heard many a Great thing! I installed Twin Hoffman Magnetic Ultra Mighty Mite 60mm EDF motors in it, with twin 60amp Turnigy Plush ESC's, and powered it off of a single 3cell 5000Mah 30C Lipo Battery. She pushes close to 4 pounds of thrust, and with a plane weight of right around 3 pounds, She can really cook! After a 4 1/2 minute flight, my Lipo reading was 11.21 volts remaining. I think if you have either of the Bumblebee releases, or Breakaway/Thrust, there's no major reason to get this set unless you dig the colors.
