Comprehensive review of the Thomson cruise ship The Thomson Destiny. The review includes the approach to the ship and checking in at Palma, a cabin review of cabin 3128, reviews of the facilities on decks 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12. These include the reception area and shops, internet room, Seven Seas Restaurant, Clipper Bar, Casino Royale, Oklahoma Lounge, Can Can show lounge (including some of the entertainment on offer), the promenade deck, sports facilities, gym, lifeboats, views out to sea, swimming pools, Lido pool bar, Mast bar, Lido buffet restaurant and the Sky bar. This is my second video review of The Thomson Destiny, so this time around I have added a little more artistic licence and a little tongue-in-cheek satire to spice it up and make it different from the review I did last year.

In December 2011 a three man team will set out in one of our Arctic Trucks built vehicles with the aim of beating the old Guinness World Record set in 2005 going from Patriot Hills to South Pole in under 3 days with an average speed of nearly 16km/h to mark the 100 years anniversary of the first successful attempt by Roald Amundsen. The challenge is to improve the current Guinness World Record, driving from Patriot Hills on the Antarctica coast to the South Pole, over 1100 km distance each way The vehicle used for this attempt is an AT44 built on Toyota Tacoma with a unique styling by Ian Nisbett Design. Thomson 737 Stormy Approach & Hard Landing! Kefalonia, Greece
Very rough approach down onto the Ionian, Greek Island of Kefalonia, or Kefallinia as some call it. As we were on descent I could tell by the formations of the clouds that they were storm clouds, and the second we hit them, it definatly became clear that they were! Flashes of lighting and heavy rain, we were being thrown around quite badly, but I must say I enjoyed it alot, its a good experience! Then suddenly we go straight over the beach and over the runway before making an extremely rough touch down! But considering the weather conditions, im not complaining at all, because again even that was quite funny! :D Also this was the only day it rained during my week over there. It continued to rain that night, but next morning sun was shining and it was 33 degrees and it didn't change again from that all week, it just got hotter! But it was yet another great flight with Thomson Airways from Luton!
