9/11 CONSPIRACY: EVIDENCE OF THERMITE AT THE SOUTH TOWER
BYU physicist Professor Steven Jones told peers at a Utah meeting that, "while almost no fire, even one ignited by jet fuel, can cause structural steel to fail, the combination of thermite and sulfur "slices through steel like a hot knife through butter." Jones points to this video which shows a bright yellow molten substance dripping from the south tower minutes before its collapse. Government investigators claimed that this was aluminum from Flight 175 but Jones is adamant that aluminum is silvery in appearance and doesn't turn yellow. Jones also told the media that sulfur traces found at ground zero indicates the thermite was combined with sulphur to make it burn even hotter than the normal 2500 degrees Celsius. Jones stated that thermite was a "clever" choice because its ingredients, aluminum and iron oxide do not require identifying tags by law, meaning they couldn't be traced back to their manufacturers.

UPDATE: in light of recent comments, i have to let you know that this reaction can happen with any metal oxide, so long as the metal has a lower affinity for oxygen than aluminum. matter of fact, it was used to obtain the first pure uranium metal. 5) you gotta love the standard to metric conversions i did for all you good people in the rest of the world... see... not all americans are dumbasses... so someone please comment on it... a simple thank you would suffice... :)

They were able to confirm the results, and Jamie Hyneman conjectured this was due to the extreme temperature difference causing the ice to rapidly sublimate to steam. Thermite reaction - red iron oxide (HQ)
Thermite is a pyrotechnic composition of aluminium powder and a metal oxide which produces an aluminothermic reaction known as a thermite reaction. It is not explosive, but can create short bursts of extremely high temperatures focused on a very small target for a short period of time. The aluminium reduces the oxide of another metal, most commonly iron oxide, because aluminium is highly combustible: Fe2O3 + 2Al = 2Fe + Al2O3 + Heat I had protection while doing this, and 4 buckets of water. Two Thermites
Two thermite compositions. Both are 40g manganese dioxide thermites, mixed at a ratio of 2.42:1 MnO2:Al powder. To one batch, I added 5g of potassium permanganate to try to increase the manganese metal yield, bringing that to 45g total. The thermite reacts via 3MnO2 + 4Al = 2Al2O3 + 3Mn The audio is a little out of synch at the beginning. I didn't like my original narration, so I recorded over it. My ignition method for all my thermites is to use a small pile of KMnO4 on top of the thermite, with a strip of magnesium ribbon stuck down through that so it extends into the thermite. This is lit by adding a few drops of glycerin. This method is very reliable. I've found that magnesium alone is very difficult to use, as it tends to fragment and go out before reaching the thermite, and permanganate alone doesn't seem to be hot enough to do the trick. In the end, I actually was unable to gather any manganese from the second thermite. While it may have increased the yield, it also increased the violence of the reaction and this most likely blew most of the products out of the pot. More reactive thermites are tricky to get pure metals from, as they tend to blow most of the products away before they can congeal into large pieces. By contrast, iron oxide thermite always produces at least one good lump of metal, because the reaction is less vigorous and iron is a heavier metal. Please subscribe and comment!

Despite many technical difficulties, I decided to upload this anyway. Skip ahead to 12:57 if you're just here to see 366 grams of thermite burn. The grade of the rust powder was around 1mm. It was filtered with mosquito screen. The Aluminium was unfiltered. As you can see, some of it was in the form of aluminium wool.

Can Bomb Dogs Smell Thermite?
Debunkers Dave Thomas and Kim Johnson on Coast 2 Coast in a debate with Richard Gage, used "bomb sniffing dogs" as an excuses for why there was no thermite used on 9/11. So I decided to call a bomb sniffing dog expert and trainer to see if, in fact, dogs are trained to smell thermite. The funniest thing about this is that the debunkers claim the thermite came from natural building materials (Iron and Aluminum) YET they NEVER give any explanation for why the dogs didn't trigger off the iron oxide and aluminum building materials???
