The Young Victoria - Childhood/Zadok the Priest
This is the first track off the soundtrack for The Young Victoria, which gave me tingles when I first heard it in the movie. I added another version on of 'Zadok the Priest' to the end of the song because the original track ended at the first verse. The sound is a little different but it was the only one I could find that I felt really matched. If you want to listen to another awesome version, check out carosaxone's from the Festival International d'Opéra Baroque. Awesome! Enjoy the video! :D

PLEASE READ FIRST!!!!! Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; possibly one of the greatest love stories ever told, EVER! Hehe. And the great thing is, is that it actually happened. It's apart of history. :) Now, I love anything to do with the Royal's, Period drama, and especially the Victorian era in general just because she was such an amazing leader - and so I was UH - MAZED when I found out about the movie 'The Young Victoria' which chronicles the young monarch's ascension to the throne, and her beautiful romance with the dashing Prince Albert (more on him later. *wink* lol). I urge ALL OF YOU to see this movie guys, especially if you're not familiar with Queen Victoria and the story of herself and Albert. It's absolutley amazing. Trust me, it's really touching and even if you're not a period drama fan, a romantacist, or a typical girl, I promise you, you'll still love it! :) Emily Blunt is amazing in this movie, as are the rest of the cast, especially the lovely Mr. Rupert Friend, who plays Prince Albert. His portrayal of the Prince is completley spot on! He deserves an Oscar! lol. I'm sure that the days where he is most remembered, for being the guy on Keira Knightley's arm, or his bit parts in 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.' are over! - He's amazing in this film, plus....Rupert = LUSH! Victoria & Albert 1 - Part 1
Recasting history as a particularly lavish soap opera, Victoria and Albert sets the story of the relationship between the queen and her consort against a background of family strife and political wrangling. Sticklers for accuracy might be disappointed, but the strong cast and lavish production values make for an entertaining film. Victoria is barely 18 when her uncle King William IV dies. She is introduced by the family adviser to a young German prince called Albert, and in spite of their initial indifference to one another and a great deal of political opposition, they fall in love. Marriage brings its own problems, however, and as Victoria, grows from an inexperienced young woman into a shrewd and powerful monarch Albert struggles to find a role for himself in both the family and the nation. The relationship between Victoria and Albert was a remarkable one and this film, while occasionally erring on the side of sentiment, brings that relationship to life.
