TBS Cancels Lopez Tonight! Canceled? Aw, Hell Naw!!
This is infuriating! Oh great, the late night talk show scene is even whiter than before. Thanks to a bump from Conan, George Lopez saw his ratings slide. This coupled with the high cost of producing the show led to TBS giving it the ax. Boo on TBS for this move. Boo on Conan for inching this along. And Boo on the viewers for not supporting. Yea, Lopez tonight wasn't the funniest but it was a nice refreshing change from the monotonous crap you see on other late night talk shows. Arsenio Hall still remains the best minority talk show late night host of all time. Peace.

Ancient TBS stuff 001 (1982)
Some animation, complete with one-inch dropouts and VTR instability, that I worked on for WTBS back in the early 80s. The music is from 'The Electric Horseman,' which was our 'image' music for some reason...and the voice on the end is Mr. Bill Tullis, who was often the voice of TBS and CNN back then.
