DK is assigned the task of capturing an ape-man named Tarzan and hand him over to the owner of a circus. He travels in the jungle with Mr. Shetty and his daughter Ruby. While in the jungle Ruby is kidnapped by Shakabhoomi tribe and is to be made their queen. She is rescued by Tarzan and they soon fall in love with each other. Meanwhile Shetty and his troop are killed by the tribe except DK who escapes. He holds Tarzan responsible and pledges to kill him. Will Ruby be able to stop him?
Tarzan
Disney's magnificent animated adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs's story of the ape man begins deep within the jungle when baby Tarzan is adopted by a family of gorillas. Even though he is shunned as a "hairless wonder" by their leader, Tarzan is accepted by the gorillas and raised as one of their own. Together with his wisecracking ape buddy Terk and neurotic elephant pal Tantor, Tarzan learns how to "surf" and swing through the trees and survive in the animal kingdom. His "Two Worlds" collide with the arrival of humans, forcing Tarzan to choose between a "civilized" life with the beautiful Jane and the life he knows and loves with his gorilla family.

During his reign as the Ape Man between 1932 and 1948, Weissmuller would star in twelve Tarzan films, before relinquishing his loincloth to Lex Barker. It was directed by Michael Schultz in 1989 and starred Joe Lara as Tarzan. Kim Crosby played Jane Porter, a New York cab driver with a degree in computers; Tony Curtis played Archimedes (Archie) Porter, a private investigator; and Jan-Michael Vincent played Brightmore, a crooked millionaire with an interest in animal vivisection. Joe Lara returned several years later in "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures", a feature-length pilot for a successful television series of the same name.
