Professor Paul Connett: Your Toxic Tap Water
Dr. Paul Connett, Professor of Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in New York, gives a damning interview on the history of water fluoridation, the collusion of major industries to put certified toxic waste into your drinking water, and why government health authorities refuse to conduct scientific studies into the dangers of fluoridation. After watching this video, you will never look at tap water the same way again. Connett describes how he initially thought people who opposed fluoridation were "a bunch of whackos," before conducting his own research which found that sodium fluoride was a toxic substance that contributed to a wide array of health defects. Heavy industry is barred from dumping this toxic waste into the sea by international law, but being able to sell it enables them to remove its hazardous characteristic and it becomes a product, explains Connett, polluting not only our water supply but also toothpaste and thousands of different foods. Connett provides a detail run down of the many health problems caused by fluoride consumption, including dental fluorosis, which the Centers For Disease Control just recently announced was a problem for 41 per cent of children aged 12-15 in the United States, clearly indicating that children are being over-exposed to fluoride and that this is affecting other tissues and organs in the body, including bone disorders, a problem also wreaking havoc amongst adults in the United States as one in three now suffer from arthritis ...

On World Water Day, March 22, 2007, hundreds of restaurants in New York City invited customers to donate just $1 for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. All the money raised through the Tap Project helps UNICEF save lives by providing safe drinking water to children around the world. For example, the head of a group representing major California suppliers said the public "doesn't know how to interpret the information" and might be unduly alarmed. fish tank water change (aquarium) fish care: Part 1
Fish tank water change on a 108 gal. aquarium. 1. fill bucket tupperware tub with tap water - add tap water conditioner to remove chlorine and detoxify heavy metals. 2. Let water sit for two days. This does two things - brings water temperature up to room temperature and it will make sure all chlorine is gone. 3. Make sure new water is the same PH and temperature as the fish tank water. ( these three steps will reduce stress on the fish) 4. Unplug your fish tank water heater before you begin draining water out of your fish tank.
MAKING AN ENGLISH CUP OF TEA.
I could have included the importance of the water used. Water with a high PH value and hard doesn't, in my opinion, make a very good cup of tea although there are blenders who blend to suit. Fortunately my tap water is very soft and suitable. If your tap water has a high content of chlorine then it would be advisable to filter it. You can of course add a little milk and sugar if that is your preference and taste.
