Unstable Tailless Demonstrator
A research project from 1987. A statically unstable tailless aircraft (7% static instability) with on-board computer stabilization. Uses only trailing edge flaps for control. This work is quaint by today's standards, but very interesting in 1987.

How to make tailless glider三角翼製作
How to make tailless glider, this glider I learn from Michael Thompson .Michael Thompson is a college student finishing up an engineering degree in Wisconsin. He has developed very thin, and very slow-flying foam gliders, which is a whole new branch of walkalong gliding. He does extraordinary feats like one glider towing another. And he has a sense of humor. He painted one of his famous jagwings with faux blood stains—the thin foam it's made from couldn't hurt a mosquito.
Tailless Whip-scorpion (Phrynus sp.) devouring its prey
Tailless Whip-scorpion (Phrynus sp.)Tailless whipscorpions are curious arthropods with spiny mouth parts (pedipalps) designed to catch prey. Very thin first pair of legs is used to feel around in dark when hunting. Active at night, these spider relatives have no silk glands or poisonous fangs but rely on stealth, speed and very sharp jaws.

Kisame Gameplay + tailless beast / samehada- Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja impact
Kisame was a powerful member of Akatsuki who successfully captured the Four-Tails' jinchūriki, Rōshi, by himself, despite noting his target's exceptional powers. Though a difficult task, by his own admission, Kisame merely complained that he was "a bit tired".[8] He also claimed that he was the best in the Akatsuki at capturing targets alive as seen when he was able to capture Rōshi alive leaving him only "on the brink of death". As a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Kisame is one of the most powerful shinobi ever produced within Kirigakure; in fact, he was able to kill his former master, who was said to be a Seven Swordsmen member of the generation that was the strongest within the village's history, as well as despite Samehada being in the superior's hands at the time. Nagato also noted he had an unusually large amount of chakra, even by Akatsuki standards.[9] Kisame has also shown a keen intellect in battle, an example of which is deducing the nature and tactics of Killer B's attack on their first encounter. Kisame was a powerful swordsman, and savoured the use of brute strength and melee fighting over any technique. Before killing his master, Kisame was wielding a normal katana, which he was proficient enough to kill all of his comrades with. Kisame's signature weapon is called Samehada, a sentient, scale-covered sword, that shaves flesh instead of cutting it. Samehada is also capable of detecting and absorbing chakra. However, it seems to be unable to ...

Mom-Where's my tail.? (Tale of the tailless kittens -"RuThis is a video of a pair of new born Manx Kittens. We have an 10 member cat family (All of them are adopted from the street). Spotty Senior- The mother cat gave birth to 5 kittens during the last 2 years. Cuckoo Rony are the first pair and later came "Spotty Jr. -- The naughty Playful kitty". Last month Spotty Sr. gave birth to 2 wonder kittens- without tail. We named them as "Rumpy- The one who is without any trace of a tail" and "Stumpy- yea; with a bit of Tail". The tailless cats are called Manx or Cymric cats which is a genetic variation. They are so lovely and cute. They are 2 weeks old and playful. We love to watch them. Be human so as to consider the value of lives of other beings. Then we could consider ourselves as Human Beings. Tailless Whip Scoprions: Amblypigids
Amblypygids have been poorly understood creatures throughout history, and continue to be misunderstood today. In some places where amblypyids are found, local people are afraid of them, and consider them to be highly dangerous. For example, on a visit to the Seychelles in 1872, one biologist was told by locals that amblypygid bites would cause swelling of the body, cramps and vomiting, and that if not treated with ammonia, these would ultimately result in prolonged illness or death. On viewing specimens brought to Europe from tropical localities, some scientists were equally fearful. One of the first authors to describe amblypygids wrote that they might be capable of inflicting severe wounds with their pedipalps, and might even cause death with their bite. Yet the oddest thing about these scary looking creatures is that they are completely harmless. They have no way of inflicting stings, or in any way hurting a human being. Amblypygids do not have venom, and their formidable pedipalps are used solely for the capturing small prey like tiny crickets crawling on tree trunks. Even today, popular media has made no effort to discredit the myth that amblypygids are dangerous to humans. For instance, in the movie version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, an amblypygid is described as "lethal" by Mad-eye Moody, who tortures the animal with a curse until Hermione begs him to stop. Amblypigids make other rare appearances on television because of their unusual shocking ...

Rise Of Flight - fall of the tail-less Handley Page400, widescreen test
My 4th rise of flight video! This is also a widescreen test. In il2 you can't change the resolution to widescreen, but I just figured out how to do widescreen in Rise Of Flight The Central Powers are trying to find the weak spot in the Handley Page. Though it's not the fastest way to bring down a HP, you can shoot the tail off. system specs: 4 GB RAM dual core 2.27 GHz ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 windows vista (this is below the minimum requirement of ROF) music: starvation - two steps from hell I wanted to make this video a quick one. But I made it when rise of flight was version 1.016 and now it's 1.018... ah, that's good quality ehj =)
Manx (tailless) rats
Manx rats are a rat that has the no tail or a very short one. They are BORN like this. Their tails should NEVER be docked. Here are 3 does born here at my rattery. They have full mobility and the black manx rex doe is the dame to the Havana rex (light brown) manx doe. The mink doe is out of 2 tailed (carrier of the manx gene) parents. It's not an easy gene to get as it's a "complicated" recessive gene. Meaning that there has to at least 3 more manx genes in the off springs pedigree to get this mutation. Sometimes more. There are only a few born in each litter. When selecting a breeding pair of manx to pair, I make sure BOTH parents are healthy and of sound mind and body before placing them together. I wait until at least 6 months to breed, but I typically bred at 11-12 months of age. This way I know they are healthy and no issues have appeared like leaking urine or loss of rectal control and I know their temperament is sound. As you can see in the video they move quiet well and with no vices.
Tailless Whip Scorpion...sperm pack.wmv
Tailless Whip Scorpions , The male left a sperm pack and is enticeing the female to pick it up by twitching his antenna and arms, then gradually gets her to move over it and pick up the top part of it, then runs off with it underneath her to absorb later. This happened today June 15, 2010 at 7:00 am right before I left for work ! This will be the 5th year in a row for her to have babies, should be about 3 months. Update ! She now has eggs on her underside July 23rd 2010.
Tailless whipscorpion - attempted prey capture (adult male)
This is an adult male Damon diadema hunting a cricket. He didn't catch it on this attempt, but it's interesting to see their response to prey detection. He only has 1 whip, but you can really see him "flicking" the cricket with it as part of their usual prey capture technique. Apologies for the sudden shaking at about 2:13 - I was a bit startled by his lunge at the cricket!
