Supermarket Sweep
My appearance on the game show. Run, lardass, run! Not to spoil the "secrets" of the sweep, but just some behind-the-scenes stuff for those that are interested: As contestants, prior to the taping of your episode, they let you walk through the supermarket for 10 minutes, so you can get an idea of what things cost. That's one of the reasons you never saw people really looking closely at the prices of things while they were shopping. You had to have a game plan (and I did!) The studio audience isn't nearly as big as they want you to believe. There are mirrors on both sides of the stage. With the exception of the contestants, the audience that is there are paid extras, which is why most of them are only slightly enthusiastic. They tape the inros of several episodes at once, so that once the game play begins, there is no audience. The rest of the game is done in an otherwise silent studio! So all of that extra clapping is added later. The store really was as big as a real grocery store (so to see it put together on a soundstage was pretty amazing). The food was expired, though. And some of them (like the meat) were, as you would expect, props. The winners go home with a check in the amount of their sweep, but the 2nd and 3rd place contestants only got a sweatshirt! So it really was all or nothing, in terms of winning. As for my own performance, as you could tell, at 200 pounds, I did not have the best cardio endurance of my life. ☆Amazing Weedle Sweep☆
LOLZ! =3 This took me about a week to finally pull off. I went though about 14 battles, trying to get this to work, until I found this guy, And got it! :D i'll sum the process up for you; if you don't really understand how it worked: Smeargle is a Pokemon that can learn any move, so I taught it belly drum. Belly drum, Maximizes your attack stat, making you get to +6 with the price of cutting your HP (hitpoints) in half. After I got up the maximum attack, I used baton pass into a new Pokemon. Baton pass is a move that transfers over any stat changes into the new Pokemon you passed to. So I went into my Gorebyss. Gorebyss has the ability to use Agility. I knew, if I was going to sweep with a Weedle, I needed to be fast. I then set up three Agility's, making my speed maximum. After I got speed, I needed Defense stats; So I passed over both the attack raise and speed raise over to my Mawile. Mawile then sets up three Iron Defense's- Maximizing my defense stats. Now that I had max speed, attack, and defense, I was ready for Weedle. Mawile passes all the stats that were set up by my three "Set-Up Pokemon" to the beastly Weedle. For some of the people who don't know enough about Pokemon to realize how this was done: 1) Smeargle's Baton Pass attack switchs Pokemon while keeping the stat changes. For instance, any attack or speed raises Smeargle got Magikarp now inherited. 2) In the beginning, I let him hit me so that my Focus Sash could kick in, leaving me at 1 HP. Flail is an attack that does more damage depending on the HP of the attacker. When Magikarp has 1 HP, Flail has a base power of 200, almost as much as Explosion! 3) Belly Drum quadruples the attack of a Pokemon at the cost of half your life. Combined with Substitute, Smeargle is left with 25% of his life and therefore activiates his Salac Berry, which provides a 50% boost to speed. 4) When Smeargle Baton Passes into Magikarp, all of his stat changes are inherited by Magikarp. That brings our friend Magikarp to 388 speed and 520 attack! If that were not enough, Magikarp's ability, Swift Swim, makes his speed double in the rain to an even better 777! 5) The end result is an incredibly fast and strong Pokemon who can spam attacks nearly as powerful as Explosion ...

Once again It's based on what the opponent brings so don't expect to get this on the first go!
