BOEING F18F US NAVY SUPER HORNET DEMONSTRATION (airshowvision HD)
Airshowvision present one of the Worlds' most awesome and versatile warplanes - the US Navy F18 Super Hornet. In this video the aircraft is carrying 6 air to air missiles on it's underwing racks, as well as the usual sidewinder missiles on the end of each wing, giving the aircraft a high all up weight. Despite this disadvantage, the Hornet still delivers a high G display. Included in the demo is the spectacular push-pull manouvers, the slow pass, a square loop, and a tough landing.

The winds on this day of the review were so strong, the F18 actually was blown upside down on the runway breaking many parts including the canopy mechanism. From that I did some quick repair and gave you guys and gals the best flying I could do with 30 plus knots of turbulent cross winds. No one was flying, but yours truly flew this for you. 20 RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornets in mass formation over south east Queensland
We start off at Amberly AFB for takeoff at 10am, we caught them flying over us while we were on our way to Kangaroo Point in Brisbane... awesome sight! - Skip to 3:57 for the formation - Here's a bit of a cool story.... bro :P There will be a mass formation flypast of up to 20 F/A-18F Super Hornets over the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Brisbane and Ipswich, this Friday (21 Oct) as part of the welcoming ceremony for four new Super Hornets. The arrival of the four new aircraft completes the Australian Super Hornet fleet to 24 aircraft. Sixteen aircraft will depart RAAF Base Amberley between 10 am and 10.30 am and will fly in a loose formation to a point off North Stradbroke Island, where they will form up and fly south, crossing the coast at Southport before flying down the Gold Coast to Tweed Heads. The armada will then fly out to sea and reform at a point off the Sunshine Coast where it will join with the four new Super Hornets. The formation will fly south from Noosa Heads down the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane where it will then fly over the CBD en route to Ipswich and RAAF Amberley. It is expected to pass over the base at 11.30am. The formation will be accompanied at intervals by up to two Hawk Mk127 lead-in fighters. The final number of aircraft flying will depend on operational and training tasks for the aircraft. Super Hornets at Father Crowley Point
Watch as F/A-18 Super Hornets fly near the Father Crowley Rest Area in California. As soon as we arrived at the rest area, we rested a bit and decided to drive down the dirt road to the further viewing point. As I put the truck in park and we walked around a bit, suddenly an F-16 based out of Spangdahlem AB flew from below the canyon, flew through the canyon and pulled up, wrapped around the rest area and dove back down the other side of the mountain pass. By far one of the most AMAZING things I've ever seen a Viper or any military jet do in all my spotting history! I was filming the Viper, but due to my stupidity, I never pressed record. Then as I walked away to go to the truck, a Super Hornet came in from the north, dove into the canyon and flew in it all the way down to the valley floor. Had I not moved from my previous location, I would've had that shot. This location is within the Panamint MOA in Death Valley Ca. VR1205 lays directly over the lake bed seen in the video. The Hornets came west from the OWENS MOA and north from the SALINE MOA. The SP F-16 that we saw early in the day took off from Nellis AFB and is participating in Green Flag. This place in my opinion is better than the location in Wales because you can drive to the spot, and Wales just sucks. Ifyou would like to see more videos like this, please subscribe to the channel. BS11: Super Hornets Arrive in Malaysia
Australia's F/A-18F Super Hornets have arrived in Malaysia to join air, ground and naval forces from Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom for Exercise Bersama Shield 2011. Bersama Shield represents the first overseas deployment for the new Super Hornets, which arrived in Australia on 26 March 2010 to replace the F-111s that retired last December. The two-week exercise officially kicked off on 2 May and will see assets from the participating nations conduct joint training exercises in various locations on the Malaysian Peninsula and in the South China Sea. Led by Commanding Officer 1 Squadron, Wing Commander Glen Braz, the six Super Hornets from RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland will practice air combat tactics under the Five Power Defence Arrangement (FPDA) with participating nations. Participating in Bersama Shield brings the Super Hornets another step closer to declaring Final Operational Capability (FOC), which is anticipated next year. If you notice when you get below 50% health on your jet you stay on fire taking damage over time until you are dead. With the Extinguisher feature its instantly pops you back to 50% or over and puts out the fires (look at 10:54 for great use of this), I use this more than I use flares at the moment and it seems to work great for me. Please let me know what you think, I'm new to uploading footage so if you have any pointers please do tell. Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy the video. eRC F/A 18E Super Hornet 90mm ARF Jet
tinyurl.com 7-3/8 in. wingspan, 52 in. long, 72 oz. flying weight, 387 sq. in. wing area, dual 360 degree thrust vector nozzles. The jet comes complete with a powerful 90mm fan unit with a 1750Kv outrunner brushless motor pre-installed, and an 85 amp ESC with switch mode BEC. The foam airframe is completely pre-painted and decorated and comes with 9 servos pre-installed. Carbon tubes reinforce the wings. The aluminum landing gear is sprung to absorb some of the landing loads and is retractable. Landing gear are servo-less and do not require end point adjustment; they are actuated by small electric motors and worm drives, and operate at a scale-like speed without the need for slow-down modules. Included is a 7-LED Midnight Flyer lighting system with bright red, green and white LEDs.
