Sunpak PZ42X Flash Gun Review
I needed a more powerful flash gun to shoot an upcoming birthday party which will be held in a large hall. I didn't want to spend a lot on the unit as I don't use flash in this way very often. The compactness and power of this unit were considerations in the purchase of the unit. This is my review of the unit
Sunpak Tripod Review (6200DX)
A quick review of the Sunpak Platinum Plus 6200DX tripod, I picked it up a few months ago and it works like a charm. The tripod also has rubber feet that twist down to reveal spikes, they're pretty handy. Buy it - bit.ly My Website - thejustinmurphy.com Follow Me - twitter.com
SunPak 6000PG Pistol Grip Ball Head on a Dolica Proline B100 Tripod
I bought a SunPak 6000PG tripod because I really liked the pistol grip ball head. I really liked the Dolica Proline tripod so I swapped them tp make an even better tripod. I'm not saying the Dolica's ball head was bad because it DOES HOLD MORE WEIGHT! I just like the ease of the pistol grip. You can get the head by itself for around $40, the 6000PG was on clearance at my local camera store so I picked it up, remember when I said the Dolica Proline B100 at $40 was the best tripod you can get for that money? It still holds true, the tripod that the SunPak Head was attached to was total crap at it retails for $50

How to mod a Sunpak .5x wide angle lens into a fisheye Part 1
Make sure when you take the lens out to clean both sides, and if the cleaner is like mine and isnt spray, apply it to the cloth then apply the cloth to the lens. If you apply it right to the lens then use the cloth it could damage it. I havent been able to mod my Bower lens yet because i lost my screwdriver and the cd method doesnt work for the bower lens The sunpak thread size is 37mm but come with converters: 25mm, 27mm, 30mm, and 30.5mm Materials: Sunpak lens - $40 at best buy Lens cleaner and microfiber cloth - $5 at best buy Flathead screwdriver - $1-7 any hardware store CD - any disk is fine Song is in the Credits I bought my Bower .38x super wide angle at www.goshotcamera.com but I dont recommend you buy it there because the shipping took 2 weeks even though it says it takes 1-2 days I'll probably make a video for the bower lens when i mod it 1000 views 3/15/09 3000 views 8/13/09 5000 views 12/3/09 50 cmnts 8/23/09

Canon G9 with Raynox HD7000 Pro and Sunpak PZ4000 AF Flash
After troubling with Fotodiox accesories, I decided to spend money and purchased an original Canon Tube Adapter, Raynox HD7000 Pro Wide Angle and Sunpak Powerzoom 4000 AF. With photodiox lenses and adapter you will deal with vignetting issues. I highly recommend my combination for the ones who wants to take pictures at indoor places.

Aiptek Action HD GVS Digital Camcorder with Sunpak Flash/Lamp Combo
This is my Aiptek Action HD GVS digital camcorder set to 1080p with the white balance set to "Sunny." I tried it on auto and it was pretty awful. I've combined the camera with the "Platinum Plus Deluxe Digital Imaging Kit" which I believe was about $30 from Best Buy. The kit includes a "Lenspen" (a lens cleaner,) a 48" Tripod, and a Camera Flash/Video Lamp combo with a foot bracket. The foot bracket screwy-mo-jig was too long to fit tightly under my camera. This can be easily fixed with a spacer or washer of some sort, but in this video its hanging a little loose. The walls in my room are yellow, my drum set is red and the back of my shelf is birch wood. The light, aside from the Sunpak lamp is fluorescent. Somewhere in the middle of the video I turn off the main light, so the only light is the lamp. Obviously, the white balance setting is still "Sunny." I couldn't tell you how this lamp compares with others because I've never tried them, but the price was right since I didn't have a tripod.
Konova Slider - Sunpak Ball Head
Got the Sunpak 6000pg for $44.95, works well at a decent price. Eventually I will upgrade to a Manfrotto 701 or 501, but for now I'm quite happy with this setup. The video at the end were some quick test shots on the first day I got it, more to come. reviews.bestbuy.com

How to modify your Sunpak 37mm 0.5x Wide Angle Lens into a fisheye lens :)
Okay Here it is: 1. Take your flat utensil and put it in a slot on the screw of the lens. 2. Start screwing counter-clockwise(to the left). 3. Once the screw comes off, gently and carefully take out the lens and flip it over. 4. Insert the lens once it is flipped. 5. Carefully re-screw the screw of the lens back in, but not to tight or loose Now you have a fisheye lens! :)
