Sunflower Spirit: Music of Deuter
What better music to accompany this robust mammoth sunflower than "Sun Spirit" by Deuter. This flower was a bee magnet. The plant was the only one to grow sideways, then up, thus outsmarting the rest of the stalks to hog more sunny rays. The flower is a waist level instead of being 8' in the air. Most people don't get to see a mammoth sunflower this close, as the blossom is busy 8-10' in the air. I intend to use this video to put on the TV set running on loop for background (for Mom as she tries to read. She has Alzheimer's). The other videos I've made of squirrel (see the one with squirrel basket) have actually be fascinating to watch, anticipating moves and details one would normally overlook. The only action here are bees and the play of the wind. The music is from "Sun Spirit" by Deuter. I was a music writer and reviewer of New Age music for many years, and Deuter's creations were genuinely joyous and spiritual. Freddie Hubbard "Little Sunflower" (1979)
Freddie Hubbard's 1979 album, "The Love Connection" . It was originally released on the Columbia label and features performances by Hubbard, Tom Scott, Buddy Collette, Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke with Al Jarreau providing vocals. Frederick Dewayne Hubbard (7 April 1938 29 December 2008), was an American jazz trumpeter. He was known primarily for playing in the bebop, hard bop and post bop styles from the early 60s and on. His unmistakable and influential tone contributed to new perspectives for modern jazz and bebop. Freddie Hubbard's original composition of "Little Sunflower" was first released on his 1967 Album "Backlash", his first album with the Atlantic label.

"Sunflower Shoot" Pt 1 by Nutnfancy
Sunflowers overrun this beautiful area and once again nature provides me with a theme to the shoot (technically Black Eyed Susans but close enough!). I've never seen this before out here and it's probably due to a record water year. It makes for a special and scenic backdrop in this remote area as I host Actiontarget.com in The Nutnfancy Project. We are collaborating on some "screaming targets" which I suggested to them in SHOT 2011. Also we get to test their already-existing electronic counter targets which feature sensors on a string of polymer mini-plates. The system works perfectly and provides a reviewable total of your shooting performance. I like it. Perhaps in future versions we can change how it displays the information (like a simple total for all shots fired as well) and make it into a MODULE for carry-along convenience. Jerrod bring girlfriend Amanda along for the shoot and Avrami is also helping out and monitoring the targets' performance in real world conditions. Of course in TNP there's always lots of product testing going on as well. Check out more running of the surprising Hi-Point 995TS carbine which endears itself (other than weight!). Some pistols like the Daewoo DP-51, Sig P2022, and Glock 26 also makes some runs on the steel and we draw conclusions. In Part 2, we get newby Amanda running in the being tested-Remington 597! During extensive course setup, a wildlife friend pays a very close visit and we enjoy watching him ...

Sunshine Daydream is an unreleased movie shot at the Grateful Dead's 1972 Veneta, Oregon concert to benefit the Springfield Creamery in nearby Springfield, Oregon. The film is sometimes shown at small film festivals, and bootleg recordings of it have circulated on VHS and DVD and as digital downloads. The concert, recorded on August 27, 1972, was filmed using four 16 mm cameras, in the woods of the Oregon Coast Range foothills, on the grounds of the Oregon Country Fair. Originally even more cameras had been planned, under an ambitious scheme: "The plot was to develop a signature visual style of representing the band: a camera for each of the 16 channels (at least!) emphasizing the visual kinetics of the music making itself as well as the enormous open communication within the band." Ken Kesey and old cohort Ken Babbs emceed the concert. The Dead played all afternoon and into the dark after an opening set by the New Riders of the Purple Sage. The title of the film is taken from the coda section of the Dead song "Sugar Magnolia".

My sunflower field acrylic nails tutorial with 3d yellow flowers and blue glitter
Hope you like my sunflower nail tutorial. Remember you can tone it down, and just do one or two flowers. I get a lot of questions,about the purpose of a uv sealer, so I decided to do these nails in a different way. I applied the uv sealer before I started my 3d flowers, and as you can see the monomer (nail liquid) didn't remove the sealer or it's shine. I actually added the 3d flowers a day after I did my nails. Keep in mind that not all sealers and monomers are the same, if you would like to do this on your nails I recommend you test your sealer on a fake tip first. Some of the items used: -blue glitter dots -my own mix of pink acrylic -Yellow and green acrylic powder -Gold-brown acrylic mix -Oval kolinsky brush #6 - non cleansing uv sealer (doesn't leave a tacky residue after curing) Songs: 'Out of this club' by the Pussy Cat dolls Ft.
