Suicide Forest in Japan
The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently. Originally released in 2011 at vice.com Need help? Press conference ends with attempted suicide
www.euronews.net What started as a normal press conference ended with an attempted suicide. Col Mikolaj Przybyl had called the media to his office in Poznan in western Poland. The military prosecutor was defending an investigation into media leaks related to the plane crash that killed the Polish president in Russia two years ago. The colonel then asked the reporters to leave as he wanted a break. He went into his office from where journalists heard the sound of a gun being loaded and then a single shot.

Bangalore: Boy commits suicide by jumping before metro train - Suvarnanews
A 17-year-old college student allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train at the MG Road Metro Station on Mar 6 evening, said reports. According to the reports, Vishnu Sharan was a first year PU student at the St. Joseph PU Composide college. Meanwhile the reason for Vishnu taking the extreme step was known and no suicide note was found. The CCTV footage of the metro station revealed that the boy was checking his mobile phone a number of times before jumping on the tracks and under the wheels of the train. This was the first suicide on Namma Metro after metro train was introduce in last Oct in Bangalore.
